Certainly very interesting to see. I would guess that this was some sort of maintenance test which Lufthansa opted to carry out on this empty ferry flight. It's quite common for airlines to utilise these sorts of flights to perform checks. Looking at the approach radar data the first approach was stabilised well before the minima and while the gear was extended later than usual. It still appeared to be fully extended by the 500 foot landing gate. It would be interesting to find some official info on this one but that's my 2 cents!

Thanks! Apparently the crew requested a missed approach, I'm not sure at what point exactly they did though. I was zoomed in on it since it started its approach to the airport, hoping to catch the gear coming down. I didn't expect it to happen this late though!
