  • MY ENTRY IS A: 36 pole, 12 foot rotor, PMH driven (2) 2.5 inch cores on a .75 inch steel plate (Stator), with a cam piloted PULSE MOTOR. each pole weighs about 2 lbs 10oz. (I weighed them all out that's why some are two or three pieces to achieve balance). The unit was built a week ago from, scra(p)tch (new word?) anyways the last thing is ITS PURPOSE is merely attraction. because of its size and also the (crazy) poles are all different for "your viewing pleasure". So to close its purpose is not magnetic attraction but human attraction. Thanks guys. So the best part??? I DID HAVE FUN. Scott Russell

      Right? The old "philly" may not be Secretariat, or even fast enough to place second. but AIN'T SHE A LOOKER? thanks for the input.

      do a wood powered engine pretty please

      someday when I plan out the thing, my guess is it better be IN the house cause elctricity from steam is gonna get hot. BUT I like the idea, on a big garage with big wood anyways why the hell not right? its all about the safety and pressure business. BUT ITS THERE!!! we run shipd off the stuff. THANKS for the push. I have thought of it for years but always thought my turbines would be the limit on practicality etc. HELP??? Scott R.

    Awesome Pulse Motor Build! Very creative indeed.

    Holy crap that's mahuge, nice wheel mate. I love your big builds. ;)

      Obviously for show mate. and the idea popped into my head. Couldn't help it. sometimes the "bullwheel/flywheel' effect pays off. and of course perfect bearings are the key. otherwise, more weight more friction, no gain, just loss.

      Odd thing tho isn't it? Scott
      PS I am working on my solenoids to really cut some rocks so when the trip to CC happens I am not in the dark. My big video says alot But it doesn't show I got it wrapped up with rocks, SO's I am practicing for when I get 20 car batteries donated. hee hee.

      Thanks. AND likewise mate. Your unique little cap blast, green pulse wheel motor is interesting. Is it water vapor or is it a spark gap resonated plasma from the magic beehive looking chamber (magnetron wave guide) thing a ma bob.?

    • @m3sca1
      @m3sca1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Made by one man i think it is mostly steam and air that comes out of the beehive. Plasma is at the very deepest part...there could be some plasma coming out.

      Thanks. I am slow at the computer thing lately since my "box o chips" crawls and could use a cleaning or replacement.

      use ccleaner and malwarebytes. just remember when installing to uncheck " would you like to install the trial version" since you are already installing the free version
      use malwarebytes first

      and if your using windows 7 uninstall your anti virus since there are no bragging rights for making viruses for that anymore

    You could do a lot of work with that mass! Friction is a such pain! You post this in the forum?

    • @madebyoneman5006
      @madebyoneman5006  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes on the posting. And yes You are right on this thing turns easy and stays going for a good time with the mass. The stupid cam follower is the prollem. a proximity sensor with a better set of everything and I might find something but This is merely for show. Friction tho is part of the conceptual limits of overunity yet The big thing tesla knew is this. Static friction is greater than dynamic friction. like a box on the carpet, so goes it with the electricity through aether.

    Awesome build! I have been working on a pendulum wheel idea. I hypothesize the pendulum wheel would work best with the size wheel you have. Would you be interested in trying to take the wheel a step or two further? -Mechanical Artist

    • @madebyoneman5006
      @madebyoneman5006  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I already tore the pole pieces off cause I want to wind a GIANT Tesla pancake coil and try to aim power across the lawn. But as far as the pendulum I did that last year just farting around with a 60 pound dumbell with a coil pulsing the upper pendulum part and it ran for hours on a car Battery. a true pulse motor. YES the weight is KEY, but bearing friction is UNKEY. Whats your idea?

    • @MaintenanceMouse
      @MaintenanceMouse 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Made by one man I will make a video as a reply as well. But to give a basic idea of the concept: replace the poles with pendulums, pulse them at the top of the wheel so that they oscillate until they reach the bottom.
      There's more detail, but that's the basic. It apprears that a flat spring is frictionless (hacksaw blade).

      MaintenanceMouse I could never wrap my head around the "apparent" perpetual motion Pendulum flapper machine if thats what you are eluding to. Does it really work and I just don't see it. like the PERP MOT videos?

    should be biggest so far

    • @madebyoneman5006

      Not that the size parameter matters, just thought I would try it.

    • @alloytam
      @alloytam 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      i hope i could found a place to build like this big.

    • @madebyoneman5006
      @madebyoneman5006  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      alloy TAM Or use the old tripod concept with two "A" framed at right angles of the planet THEN stake the last leg to the ground to prevent the weight of the rotor from pulling it forward and pin it plumb (just like the they brace framed walls in houses temporarily).
      There would be the start of a cheap "mobile" frame on two by fours or whatever. I just happened to have this old crappy shelter for my mill that seems sacrificial for now. just an idea. Scott R.

      well i can try build it inside the jungle, where i use to hiking there...
      so could provide some remote electricity for them,
      forgotten to mentioned that your PM also can be a generator too

    • @madebyoneman5006
      @madebyoneman5006  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      alloy TAM Good Point. Actually the little Leedskalnin PMH can be 5 different things (that I know of):::
      1. With a proper size keeper bar it is a PMH.
      a Permanent Magnet Holder. If you look up DEC (Digital Equipment Corp) the computers in the schools (during the seventies) at dartmouth and elsewhere had Iron core memory. It believe it or not, worked on this Ed Leedskalnin "discovery" thus holding magnetic flux "permanantly" in the irons core with little rings (or pmh's).
      2. It is a stator to pilot Pulse Motors.(my case and Leedskalnins for his rock cutting machine)
      3. When the poles are magnetic it can be a pickup (your case the generator)
      4. With two drastically different coil windings (and the keeper again) it can become a high voltage DC induction coil and so of course
      5. with the keeper again it can become a transformer for AC.
