I really like the anticipation of seeing the colors jump out when you apply the sanding sealer. It’s awesome! Definitely like the bowl.
Awesome! Thank you Ron!
I like the way the bowl turned out. I think the hard line of the color change adds to the design.
Thank You Thank You
That thing is pretty, one step in front of the other. You have a lot to offer and your trials are learning experiences for all of us. Thank you.
Thanks again Frances
it still came out awesome. Resign sure was a game changer in wood working! Really enjoy your videos. Thanks.
Awesome! Thank you!
11:20 this is what I get for commenting “Can someone get this man some mold release” in a previous video 😂😂
Thank you Darren, the problem is I've always had the mold release, I just forget to use it.
Thank God you had separation problems!
I was looking forward to it flying across the room but at least we had extra entertainment in a different way this week!
Cool stuff
Thanks
Thank You Thank You
The colors of green you used in the resin were beautiful and the light tan maple suited it well! Very nice, the cracks in the wood add great character to the overall design. It had a “vintage oriental” look to it. Reminded me of jade!😉😍
Thank you so much!
Wonderful colors!!! I love that you aren't afraid to go thinner on the sides than some to achieve that beautiful translucent color.
Thank you so much Latasha! I am not a fan of the thick bowls like that, it should be thin like a bowl is in my eyes.
@@PohlBarnProductions it is truly beautiful work. And yes, even in pottery we try to go as thin as possible and still be structurally sound.
A very beautiful bowl for how it started. I really love this bowl and the color of it. Thanks for sharing this
Thank you Jane, you are very welcome
Thanks for the double up load this week . Keep the chipmunks in the videos kinda funny here and there .
Thank You kenneth, no problem

Hi Doug, she may not be one of your favourite turns but she is stunning, the beautiful colour from the Ambrosia Maple offset against the greenish resin is so pleasing on the eye. You mixed your resin colours to create a beautiful colour. Thanks for sharing

Beautiful bowl! You know, I love the dark green better than light. The imperfections [none I can see] make this interesting and a conversation piece. Keep safe!
Thank you very much Kathi! once in your hands you will find them, you can feel them as soon as you touch it

Absolutely beautiful bowl!! Love the green, it compliments the wood grain perfectly.
Thank you very much Cindy!
The finish looks awesome on that bowl, I like it, beautiful piece👌
Thank you very much Aeron!
Doug that's a great looking bowl and a great vid! The ambrosia and the spot of burl really enhance the character of the piece. I have yet to turn anything that's turned out completely as planned, I'm thinking for some of us that's just how it's always going to be. Look at all the repair techniques you're learning... :)
lol Thank You Harold,
Обожаю зелёный цвет! Красивый микс цветов и оттенков! Лайк
Thank You
Ole Big Bubba scraper looks like a leaf spring out of a Willy's Jeep!! 🤪🤪 Nice job Doug.
Thank You , I think it's just a piece of HHS stock,
Pretty as usual, Doug. I know you may not think so but we do. You seem to always figure it out in the end. And btw, I love that green, even with the hard line there. It gives it character.
Thank you Thank you Kris
This project got funny. Solid cracks and bubbles, but no trouble.
GooD)))))))
Thank you Meront,
I love your work, and watching your videos are quite educational with the manner that you combat the trial and error methods
Working with organic material sure does bring unpredictable outcomes, but that’s what makes each item unique and beautiful
Thank you, I do my best to show others they are not alone with problems or mistakes.
Very awesome restoration work and a beautiful bowl good video
Thank You Alan
That's a great looking bowl. Love the maple and green. Lots of character.
Thanks a bunch Bob!
Great job on the bowl, I am sure it takes a lot to keep up with what you do on you tube. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Mark
Most enjoyable as usual Doug you brighten up the dullest of days thank you sir
Thank you Phil,Glad you enjoyed it
Once again a beautiful project!
Thanks again Cerise!
I'm not usually a fan of green, but this kind of reminded me of that sour apple hard candy we used to get, and has those interesting swirls in it. I thought the bright color went well with that pale blonde wood. You seem to be enjoying yourself again, even when you "fight" a little with your project. Glad you've found your smile, and are hopefully feeling well!
Thank you Margaret, with all that's happened to me over the last year and what's going on currently, it's made it rough to enjoy anything, I'm trying to ignore all of that and be happy !
@@PohlBarnProductions I know what you mean. I have to go hunting for my smile on a daily basis, and all this nastiness that is happening has made it hard to find. We just have to hang in there and hold tight to our faith, and believe that God is in the midst of, and in control of, this situation. Thank-you for continuing to provide a break from the turmoil. Peace and Blessings to you and yours.
I think it's safe to say that green is one of your favourite colours (no judgement here), for some reason I picture The Hulk eating his cereal in it, haha, but I'm a weirdo! Thanks Doug, another great piece!
Thank You, no not really it just shows up better in my projects so I tend to lean on the color more than other colors.
@@PohlBarnProductions
That makes perfect sense, because we tend to see more green than any other colour, in many crafting videos! Have a great weekend!
Looks outstanding Doug Great work
Thank you kindly
I really like the swirl in that green! I’m using hot melt glue blocks on the bottom of my resin work from now on, too bad about the cracking from the jaws of the chuck, Jim
Thank You Jim, my fault, over did it just to be safe and screwed it up.
Great colors bowl looks great
Thank you Norma
Well, mr. Murphy found you again my friend. But still it looks good. Now i like green a lot and it is not often it's used. Most of the time it is blue or red, but this tickles my interest. Very well done and as always a nice video to watch. Thank you for sharing Doug. 👍👏😎
Thanks again!
love the green!! Beautiful 😍
Thank you!!
Heyyyy Doug ... Love this 😍😍😍 Those Greens are so vibrant ! And I actually adore the shape of the bowl if things always went right we would be bored 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 It looks great xx

We’re our own worst critics... really nice work. Thanks for sharing
Thank You Mark
LOL, wife walked in @ about 4:10 and said "oh gross". I guess all she saw was a dog dropping in green slime. It was good for a laugh, at least for me.
Nice save-Looks good-Enjoyed as always, Dave.
Thank you Dave, green isn't gross ! it pops out like no other
The lighter green is really beautiful. You’ve done another great job. Hope all is well ... take care

Great work as always Doug 👍👍👍
Thank You Rob
That came out really nice! It seems nothing ever goes exactly as planned for a craftsman. But you pushed through and created a pretty piece. The hole just adds character.
Thank You Eric
I like it Doug. I know you’re not real pleased with it, but the colours of the wood and resin are really beautiful
Thank you Steve, only because it cracked

Turned out beautifully. Good job. Thank you so much for sharing. 😺❤
You are so welcome Joalla!
Looking good. Nice color choice for that bowl!
Thank You Mike
Doug, I’d like to offer up a suggestion for your issues with air pockets. I think it’s caused by the narrow space (gap) between your form (bucket) and the wood blank. The viscosity of the resin can’t over come the surface tension (on blank and form wall) and won’t flow into gaps. Try squeezing/ massaging the outer walls of your form (temporarily increasing the gap), before setting the form into the pressure pot. I hope this helps. Nice piece as always!
Thank You Michael
Hey Doug, I like your bowl and think that the colours would look nice on some christmastrees 😀
Thank You Meanie
Amazing work my friend. Beautiful 🤩💥👍
