I like them bc I skip to the end and look at the result. I imagine that those videos have bad audience retention. Most people just want to see the results.
I totally know it’s content farming but I still watch those tier lists every time they come out. It’s good content to play in the background while I’m doing something else. I never follow them, but it’s neat to know what is being played. They are also good if you are relatively new for picking what heroes you want to start to learn. For example, if you see kiriko is S tier like 6 patches in a row, you might decide that you want to learn that hero at some point soon.
tier lists have made me stop caring about people's opinions. just play and be good on characters you like. ANY character is good if you know how to play them
i disagree because i've seen crazy one tricks not rise above plat due to just not knowing the game. If you put in one afternoon of learning the game and apply that over a week, you'll see better improvement on every hero. You only need to start getting mechanically skilled around masters, which is where your video comes in, but before you just grind out hours, you have to have a plan
