Love this handheld best bargain of the years so far , the stock OS is clunky but very stable where at Batocera is out now but still needs work before it's ready to be taken advantage of .
Batocera has a new release, like 4 days ago, it's no longer considered lite version, for me it works great, Bluetooth, wifi, systems I play, play well, probably only PSP needs a bit of optimization (has a newer version than stock) but everything else I've tried works and looks 10x better, only downside is boot time (not a huge issue for me) and that it drains a bit more battery (havent really tested just have a feel that it drains faster maybe since I have it all the time overclocked at max so that interface runs smooth, I like the fancy themes that show videos and for sure that must have an impact on battery).
question -i am just now looking at buying one of these.....are these ready to play right out of the box? or do you have to sit there and tinker with settings every time you want to change what game/system you want to fire up?? i've never owner one of these decides and was looking for a pro/con of them.
You will have to buy additional sd card of your choice which buying. You can play right away then. This particular handheld can play upto some psp games. The link is there in the description if you decide to buy one
@@bigretrostudio is there a suggestion for a handheld that will, or will eventually run switch games?? that is what i am looking for but nothing over 150-ish
No this emulator is perfect out the box. Personally i havent had any issues with stock os and everything stock when booting up a game. If you did want more games you would have to add the sd card and do the whole process which im not good with so i dont recommend it. But for any beginners like me at emulation id recommend just buying it and playing with everything stock which comes right out of the box
Would I be better off buyn a ps vita and modding the thing myself to run all of this Or just throwing down the money for one of these devices that I won't have to mod myself
I have both. PS Vita will definitely do you better because it can emulate PSP flawlessly and you have the entire PS vita catalog to choose from which you can download directly over the internet on the Vita (for both PSP and Vita) It does take some time to get everything working but if you upgrade your SD card and have a dual card set up on the anbernic, it takes some tinkering too. The Anbernic did last me almost 8 hours at 100% brightness playing PS1 which I don’t believe the Vita can last that long. So I guess choose either the more powerful console with less battery or a slightly less powerful console with longer gameplay.
Beautiful looking device for it format
I prefer this handheld compared to RG35XX Plus 🙂

@@morid0 , do you have the link for this as i'm only able to find the lite download?
Very good video somehow. Thank you!
Is the right thumbstick in the way or is it fine?
Not at all. It's fine 🙂
@@bigretrostudio Great, thank you again

Easier way without modding would be buying this, the link is there is description if you decide to buy one.

Great Mini Console! I rather just play all of these games on PS VITA!
🙂👍🏻
Hello, is there super mario bros and the metal slug series on the console?
Yes, if yours didn't come with it, it takes 2 mins to put it.
@@bigretrostudiothanks
Very nice.

How is the system in comfort? It looks very small and uncomfortable to play for a long term gaming session
I tested 100 n64 games recently on this, and it was fine for me.
How small is the screen with the black frames on some systems?
Display Screen: 3.5-inch IPS, 640*480
But with the black stripes in the Gameboy series and others, sorry i dont speak english.
You can change the aspect ratio and make the games play in full screen.
