- Join us on a fun-filled adventure as my wife, her brother, and sister-in-law and I explore Chula-chuli 3 in Ilam district to celebrate Limbu's cultural festival, Chasok Tangnam. We took a leisurely stroll, indulging in delightful snacks like Aalu chop and smokey cheeseballs mixed with liquid nitrogen, creating a cool smoke effect when consumed. We captured some amazing moments with photos and then immersed ourselves in the vibrant Sakela cultural dance. To satisfy our taste buds, we headed to Lungwa Sekuwa Corner, where we feasted on a variety of Limbu ethnic dishes such as Yangben, Sargemba, along with other Nepal's special foods like spicy chatpate, Pork Sekuwa, chicken sekuwa, potato curry, and washed it all down with refreshing Coca-Cola. As a son-in-law of the Limbu caste, I cherished the opportunity to learn more about their culture and savor their traditional dishes, making it a truly enjoyable experience.
