Yes GG Alcock, to register for VAT is very onerous. As is trying to submit employee UIF. Often one hits a brick wall especially with badly designed websites.
What is the sense in the banks decision to not finance Thabiseng's property investment? Why would they prefer to finance a depreciating asset instead?
How does the kasi economy / kasi-based middle class not have to struggle like the rest? Are they not paying their taxes? Considering they deal mostly in cash it seems entirely possible that the "formal" economy is breaking their backs while the informal economy just doesn't pay.
With regards to all the rules and regulations for businesses. Just goes to show how out of touch the ANC are with their voters and reality.
