Interview with GG Alcock was very uplifting. So pleased at the news that the ‘independent’ economy is doing so well. True free market enterprises. 🤙🤙🤙

Start small. Community empowerment. Local vegetable garden and market. Co-op. The local churches can assist.

Yes GG Alcock, to register for VAT is very onerous. As is trying to submit employee UIF. Often one hits a brick wall especially with badly designed websites.

What is the sense in the banks decision to not finance Thabiseng's property investment? Why would they prefer to finance a depreciating asset instead?

How does the kasi economy / kasi-based middle class not have to struggle like the rest? Are they not paying their taxes? Considering they deal mostly in cash it seems entirely possible that the "formal" economy is breaking their backs while the informal economy just doesn't pay.

With regards to all the rules and regulations for businesses. Just goes to show how out of touch the ANC are with their voters and reality.

An illegal hustler would be a drug dealer, stolen goods, fraudster etc but then one could say Jooste was an illegal hustler. 😁
