I still remember playing with Cliff and Goose (The devs) With our W.E.W clan (Weekend Warriors)... Since we were #1 on the CLQ and other minor sites! lol who remembers that?? Wayyy back in 1999 there and still have tons of screenshots. We had NoFace, Scissors, KR, Revenge, AJ, 007, Barrigade, etc So many elite players that were hands down amazing. Any old LAN or SK members still around?. I remember when you could plant the bomb anywhere on the map before you had to plant on specific spots lol, also sprinting was insane fast before they nerfed it, and other awesome things. One of the best shooters ever!!

Its crazy how the game has been improved so much but the mechanics and scripts are still from 1999
It's a simple and effective that defines CS. No looking down sights and bullets going in a radius when spraying. Just the side of a gun, the crosshair, and a spray pattern that is consistent.

loads of nostalgia , I was introduced to this game by my tiawanese friend when I was 14 years old. We played it from beta 1 all the way through its evolution. I truly miss this gaming experience.

i remember the time when i was playing half life when there were CS on it
CS 1.5 ❤️ which was still a mod of half-life at that time. The pod-bots were like jumping monkeys. We created LAN with friends and played almost every day. Good old games.

I started playing CS wayback 1999 beta versions.... great old college days that i would always remember.. and i still play CS 1.3 / 1.6 on my laptop nowadays.... i havent played any CS GO...
Heres a fun fact
The 0:41 sound (the equiping sound of the awp) is still at the game files. Just unused. You can find it yourself. Cstrike/sound/weapons/awp_deploy.wav
