Beautifull Abandoned Chateau Cinderella [ Urbex 2018 ]

- This amazing Chateau built in 1860 was the home of a wealthy French family. After they moved out in 1984 it got turned into a Hotel and Restaurant and was very luxurious. It opened in 1999 with 10 rooms with 20 beds.
The cost for upkeep was too high for the owner and he had to move on. And opened different restaurants in the area. leaving this beautiful chateau to decay since 2005.
There were investors with plans for this amazing building. But so far nothing has been realised on the location due to issues to get permission for opening a well being centre.
This location is not very hard to find on the internet and when we arrived we discovered we were not alone. at first we thought that it was security and backed off a bit. only to find out it were other explorers, and we made some new friends.
It was an amazing sunny day and we absolutely fell in love with the place. Its truly a fairy tale castle. no wonder it got the name Chateau Cinderella.

IDK why but it makes me feel sad to see such beauty falling apart.
I can sense the residual energy of the glory days when society came there to be seen and to absorb the sophisticated culture, art and music of its time. Right out of Pride and Prejudice and all those movies of that era.

Andrea XoXo!! , that seems like a VERY broad stereotype: the whole “world”? And “anything that is beautiful is unappreciated”?! Really? Just from seeing one video of an abandoned house? These houses obviously require a lot of upkeep, time, resources, etc. while I do share your sense that it’s sad to see this (and other buildings) fall into disrepair, to say that the entire “world” doesn’t appreciate anything of beauty is just bombastic and silly.
@@andreaxoxo4034 not necessarily unappreciated or under appreciated. People just decided to downsize and get prepped for SHTF. We live in perilous times and need to be vigilant and ready for anything to happen.
This mansion is from the time of which we will never see again. A majestic time of real splendor and architecture. Really sad times must have befallen there owners.... Tragic...
People who believe in Jesus will get to live even better than these people when they are resurrected. A greater glory is coming.

This place is magnificent. I would love to see it brought back to it's glory.
It states on her website this is a abandoned hotel in Belgium. Built in 1900 and abandoned in 2005. It’s always nice to know a little bit of the history. It’s so beautiful! I can’t imagine what in looked like before it was abandoned.
Probably had a side line of arms dealing or child prostitution, oops no that can' be they would be doing really well right now.

this is most definitely a beautiful home it just need somebody with some money and a very creative mind and someone who can appreciate the beauty that this house will bring it needs to be restored back to his former Beauty it is breathtaking
Would be a killer wedding/event venue. The grounds are spacious, you can pitch a tent for additional room.
Plant a garden to rent for additional photo ops. 🤤
I would love 2 have this Chateau and fix it up and live my golden years out there, it's so full of brightness and joy👍😇🙏😍🤗😀😀😀😀😀😀👌💕❤️😍😘🤗

This breaks my heart, please someone save all the incredible work that was put into this home before it’s too late. This sort of building will never be built again. Once it’s gone, it’s gone for ever. ❤️
The architectural salvage of this building is worth a tremendous amount of money. It is worth the save.
The windows, balconies, stair cases, moldings, mantles....and property......pretty!
i did know someone years and years ago who bought an abandoned chateau some where in europe. he found it really hard to repair it as things went wrong quicker than he could repair. its a costly process a real money pit, plus in winter keeping a place that large warm is not economical. reality is a heartbreak in the end he had to walk away from it.

So sad that such a tranquil beautiful place is too big to renovate. If money was no object, I'd snap this up in heartbeat.

This is so beautiful.. I could imagine what it looked like when it was first built
Even though the place is looking somewhat tattered and despite some garbage and being a little messy . . . this home is screaming for someone with relatively deep pockets to provide it with
a little love and attention. The potential is absolutely there. If the new owner happened to have a few bottles of wine on hand (and I lived a little bit closer), count me in.
I'd love to come and help scrub and paint.

Why is it called chateau Cinderella?..i wish the blogger could put some bits of information or story behind this abandoned marvel..why was it abandoned in the first place?..does anybody own it still?..or has it been sequestered by some govt or agency?..when was it built?..who were it's occupants?..this will make such video more interesting to watch as there are some stories to tell!..

You should have rescued the chairs.
Chairs were already beyond repair :( the whole condition of the place was pretty bad. Floorboards were almost giving in while walking on the 1st floor.. thanks for watching. Maybe you want to see my video on chateau banana. Really nice place with amazing furniture :)

It's amazing, how one black framed chair, with the pinkish cushion, needed no words...perfect place for a writer.

Mmm...signs of structural water damage, with most of the original hardware still in place, and only a few slight signs of modernization. How lovely it would be to restore this gem back to the original luster of its once warm rosey glow...the wonderful building, that it is.

All of the wood is beautiful- wainscoating, paneling, moulding on ceilings, the light whatchmacallit (medallion ceiling that kind of frames light fixture) - it’s all so beautiful.

Augh Bable it’s not semi medieval it is actually Baroque style.... I love it so much and I would love to have a place like this fix up (not modernize) and to decorate it in baroque fashion. ❤️ I love historical masterpieces such as this. 🌸
@@tiffanysanchez9184 Oh nice! Why this place was abandoned though? The last thing the owner could do, is giving away to the nearby community, so they can use it as community hall, if not refurbish it, at least they could clean it up from time to time. What a sad fate for such pretty chateau!

Wow! The moulding on the ceiling & walls is amazing. The huge windows & fireplaces are stunning. I can't imagine why they would let this place fall into ruin. Someone should redo the house.
So great there was no vandalism. I would love to see the the explorers close outside doors and windows whenever possible to help preserve the structures as long as possible.

Your videos would be much more interesting, if you told us where the home is and took the time to research the history, current status and plans for the homes. Also, as I mentioned in my other comment, you pan the camera too fast (not enough time to get a good look, let alone that it makes one dizzy), and don't show all the rooms.

This hurts me heart to see this stunning master piece in this condition, I did not like the modern touches to this place i would have kept it original, but who owned this, what secrets does it hold, how many generations grew up here.. what would they see as they looked out into the courtyard..
