ONce you have your hammer spring pin out--push down on a surface on the lanyard portion and the hammer brake spring will go up enough to simply pull the tab out of where it goes instead of powering it out of it's position....
Whats your opinion regarding SP-01 M/S.....mine is new and unmodified. This is for range shooting, general shooting, self-defense, no competition. I have several Cajun parts not yet installed. What ammo limitations would I have with an extended firing pin and its spring, and a 13 hammer spring?
I have a PCR that I purchased from them with the PRO package and I also have a PO1 I installed the PRO kit in myself. I have changed the sights on both and installed the 10X bushing on both. My son swears that my PO1 has a lighter pull than the PCR. I have come to favor the PO1 because for some reason I shoot it better. I am planning on procuring another PO1 this summer whether I can find one or get one from CGW. I have a Beretta Compact L I plan on selling that I have grown to hate, even after much polishing and use of W/C parts. In my opinion CZ Decockers are the best. And, hell I'll be 70 this fall.
My CZ SP-01 Tact is very well broken in...over 5,000 thousand rounds threw it & thousands and thousands of dry fires. I had CGW 11.5# hammer spring installed and was getting 100% reliability even with that Russian crap ammo. The trigger pulls were; DA: was right at 5# and SA was 2 1/8#. I recently went with CGW 13# hammer spring. Using the 11.5# hs, the DA was scary light. Thus the reason to go to the heavier weight. Even with the 13# hs installed, I'm getting in DA: 6 1/2# and SA: 2 1/8#. I was very surprised the SA did not increase. Anyway, good video.
so with the 13 pound H spring can I keep the rest factory stock while reducing my DA pull weight on my SPO1? Trying not to get into the firing pin and the FP spring if possible.
I have the #13 hammer spring with a reduces firing pin spring on stock firing pin, the striking force on the primer is the same as stock. I measured the stock firing pin and searched on Aliexpress for compatible reduced firing pin spring, I managed to find 10 spring package for $5 and the spring works great.
I have a stock sp01. Will just changing the hammer spring lighten the sa pull. If I put a 13 lb spring in my stock sp01 what would that do to my sa pull?thanks
Cgw 3 pk is a 13lb with lighter firing pin spring that's all you need is a raami firing pin spring from what Ive read to function with a sub 15lb main spring
Thank you. Pultting the magazine spring back is quite challenging until I saw your methods. Very helpful!
Just picked up my first CZ (The Shadow 2). Already thinking about a lighter hammer spring. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and all the pro tips.

Who are you talking to ?
Great looking CZ! Those grips look fantastic. Cheers!

The tip of the mag break is bent. Did you flatten it out when placing it back in? Looks like it was flatten to fit
32icon no
Where did you get the grip pads?

you notice nato rds jam on light springs
Why wouldn't you remove the pin from the mag guard and easily slip it out instead of bending the s*$%t out of it?
SFZX 54 it’s spring steel. It won’t hurt it.

Rich Klein great results. Mines at about 2k total, 1k with cgw.
Rich Klein I have video up on the 11.5# spring.

I just bought a 15# and #13 hammer spring. With the 13# will I get light strikes since I didnt get a extented firing pin?
712criminal I honestly don’t know. I’ve heard some guys doing it but I have never done it

Great video! Please tell me the cost , minus the gun itself,, for all the CGW upgrades,, thank you!
+DaveandDebe if you watch my Cajunized video at the end I talk price. Just for the pro package I think it's around $400
YoungGunner89 do you think I should send out my SP-01 or just buy a Shadow 2 for the same price?

Cod y19 if you watch from about 6 minutes-6:30 I answered your question
YoungGunner89 sorry. Just wanted to make sure that it does lighten SA. Everything in the websites just say it reduces DA pull
Cod y19 it's all good, yes they mainly talk about the double action because that's what most people want to solve. Most are ok with the single
