    Hi Dr.Anthony , I have been taking collagen tablets for many years . I’m 36 now but people mistook me for 26 😅. I also take Vitamin C daily and drink Tulsi green Tea daily for a decade now. On my face I use Niacinamide serum and tretenoin at night. And use raw honey daily for moisturiser. I think it works on me 😊

    Just a note. Supplements are not regulated by the FDA so companies can put pretty-much anything they want on the labels and get away with it. So remember, anytime you buy *ANY* supplement be sure they are stamped with either NSF of USP certification. These are third-party companies that perform laboratory tests on the content and dosage of each supplement. In other words, they make sure that what's supposed to be in it is in it and at the right amount.

    Dr. Youn, hello. I'm new to this channel and was impressed. Could you make another video in regards to these supplements and dosages. Of course, everyone will need different dosages when deficient, however, would you make a quick video at the least amount we should get with vitamin c, vitamin D, et cetera and what exactly we should look for in a supplement.
    You mentioned that vitamin C should be taken daily due to it being water-soluble. Does this mean that all water soluble vitamins must be taken daily?
    I hope to see a video in regards to this and hope to learn more from you. Bravo to including nutrition into your specialty. At one point this would never have been done but it can no longer be excluded as being an important part of taking care of our largest organ, the skin.
    Thanking you in advance should you put together a video as I have requested. 🤞

      Some basics are washing her face in the morning and night, I love using effaclar of la roche posay gel for that :) She may also use some topic products such as salicylic acid.
      A dermatologist may give her pills such as isotretinoin or vitamin A. But isotretinoin need to be supervised and is a prescription drug. It does wonders though, I have used it myself.

      An adequate Vit D level helps you absorb the calcium from the intestines. Sometimes it is the Vitamin D level that needs to be corrected first.

    Taurine isn't mentioned, and it's cheap and is probably the most important one. Often, the healthiest things are.

    Could you please tell me how old you are?
    As you are making videos about youthfulness, but I didn’t see any youthfulness in you. So just wondering that if you are over 70 but you maintain current one, I would definitely say your mentioned methods really work. But if not, it’s just a money making video.
    Thanks

    I am 67 years old and I have no wrinkles or sagging skin and I look like 40 years old. Sugar and smoking and Trans fat from fried food and sun, damages the collagen in the skin. These harmful substances bind to collagen fibers, causing these collagen fibers to have less power to keep the skin elastic and strong. Collagen food is important otherwise no skin care will help, when wrinkles appear, skin care cannot remove them. Every day I see people eating a lot of sugar and trans fat from fried food or junk food that ages the skin. Using supplements and eating sugar and smoking and eating trans fat from deep fried food or junk food makes no sense.

      the question is why would fermented veggies and kimchi cause cancer? it doesn’t make sense.

    • @larryc1616
      @larryc1616 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's too much salt in preserved meats and foods that causes increase is stomach cancer not fermented foods which decreases cancer
