    I like the idea of using rubber mulch. It is certainly better than sand or wood mulch (which attracts termites!)

      Except it doesn't weigh very might at all.

      Play sand is cooked (heated) to kill bacteria. That's why most people don't use beach sand. But hey, if it doesn't start smelling, great idea.

    I’m guessing that the rubber nuggets were not completely dry when you put them in the bags, since rubber mulch usually sits outside at Lowe’s. Have you had any problems with mold inside the bags over time?

    • @crossfitinguz3938
      @crossfitinguz3938  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No mold issues that we've seen. Could definitely dry the mulch out before adding to the bag first. Good suggestion!

    thats a lot of faith in a duffle bag from amazon man. maybe you should put it in a heavy trash bag, roll it, then put it in the bags so if they rip it wont matter.

    • @crossfitinguz3938
      @crossfitinguz3938  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You could definitely do that as an added precaution. They're both holding up very well so far.
