Dana Carvey needs to start his own youtube channel, podcast or even show. So much talent.

He had a show...a great show...on ABC in the late 90's. WAY ahead of its time and included Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert among others. Unfortunately Dana upset the sponsors a few too many times and ABC didn't have the balls to back him up.

He had one in the nineties. Stephen Colbert was on of his writers. Way before the Colbert Report. It was too intense for its time. Shame too, it was good. They never finished the first season.
I could listen to Dana do Paul all day. Never gets old.... gives me a tickle and a whoo whoo.... you know. :)

Stern's interview reminded me of why I loved Carvey in the first place. Where the f*** has he been? I listened to this all day long in the car.

I don't know how such a talented and funny guy could be so underrated and be hardly seen on tv or movies anymore. He only makes a few appearances on shows, many of them on Stern. Every time he is interesting and hilarious.

This is how SNL used to be. They could get Political & Be Funny. Now they just get Political.
And most of the impressions completely suck. Just because you dress up like someone and speak like them doesn't automatically make it funny or memorable. The only recent one I thought was good was McCarthy doing Sean Spicer. But even then Chris Farley would've done it better
Yes, Dana was poking fun with everyone. He didn't single out one political party or philosophy. That's the difference. He made fun of Trump, Mueller, Hillary, Kavanaugh, etc. When all sides get buffooned, then everyone can laugh.

To give you an idea of how funny Dana Carvey is, I saw him perform at the Ice Box and his two sons Dex and Thomas separately preceded him doing standup at the show. His sons were hilarious and the laughs continued with Dana. Comedy must run in the Carvey family veins.

Dana Carvey is a National treasure
Not only is the execution brilliant but the concept is just genius. With the exception of Bill Hader and at times Kate McKinnon and Keenan Thompson, the entire cast of SNL is not fit to tie Dana Carvey's shoes.
The fact that he could weave the different voices without a blink is remarkable! James Corden, Jimmy Fallon, or Jimmy Kimball should bring Dana back!
Please have Dana on more often.

Wife always watches SVU tv show re-runs. I spotted Martin Short today playing a "bad dude".
His character was a real jerk, lol. Asked wife to check date; Circa 2005. Very surprised to see him on that show.

Dana Carvey can do anything! I enjoy his fantasy scenarios and could listen to him all day. He creats comedy Gold! He definitely should have his own podcast or TH-cam channel or some outlet where one can see more of his riffing and improv! I mean I’d even watch him working a comedy bit out.
