There's a button called "Ex" that turns "exclusive snap mode" on and off. When exclusive snap mode is turned on, only one snap mode is allowed. Make sure to turn it off and you should be able to turn on multiple snap modes at once.
My head is still whirling wondering how you could figure out the formulas or method to draw such a thing. I am really stunt by the end those gears match perfectly...I really enjoyed your video anyway. Thanks a lot for your sharing. Could you make a video with Isometric view next time that would be great.
Great question! There are many design factors that go into designing gears but there is nothing inherently wrong with having an even number of teeth. Depends on your application. This video isn't so much a gear design video, but I wanted to show how one could draw a gear in LibreCAD, so you can design your own gears. Thanks for the question!
@@practicalopensource291 I know, was curious. We had to draw a gear in drafting back trade school, mind you pencil on paper. At least a quarter of it. CAD makes it so much easier. But the teeth count has something to do with how often the same two teeth touch each over. One gear could have maybe even a prime number of teeth. I forgot.

How did you turn on endpoint and center snapping at the same time? I can only enable one at a time. (I am using ver 2.1.3 on Windows)

How do you rotate clockwise? No matter where I click direction for rotation is always counter clockwise
If you use a negative angle, the rotation should be clockwise.

When you rotate the involute profile by 10 degrees, where are you getting the 10 from? Does it matter at all how far you rotate it?
