Your opps were a blessing on drawing a line from the midpoint. I did it twice and was easy to correct. When I got to the end I found that I had made a couple of other errors but was easy to fix from what I learned from this video. It was my fault, not yours. I thought about deleting this cad from my pc but you made it simple to use. Turns out that it is one of the easiest 2D free programs to use. I encourage anyone to follow this video all the way through. It threw me back in my chair when I hid the hidden lines. WOW!!!
Congratulations. Uour tutorial are clear, essential, and straight to the point. The presentation it is also not boring, and this it's not a secondary aspect!
Cooooool! Full confession: I had no idea where you were going until you got there. Nicely done! P.S. Your presentation holds up really well at 2x speed!
At first It was kind of hard to guess what you were actualy doing so I kind of had lost interest but when you removed the hidden lines and you could see the spiral I was like "Wowww!!" Realy well done, subscibed to your chanel. I hope to see a lot more of your tutorials.
Same here! So as a rule now, I watch all tutorial videos through first so that I kinda get a grasp of what I'm working towards. Doing that helped a ton afterward.
That was brilliant, although the destination was obscure to the last minute. That may have been what you wanted, however, just in case it wasn't, you could have shown us the completed design first and then launched into the explanation. That said, just the way you developed the sine wave was worth the tutorial. Thank-you.
looking for an easy 2d cad drawing program, so checking out a few tutorials, You seem to have it mastered, and looks like a program i could possible use, beginner at cad but using Illustrator, (not to its full potential) but need somthing more accurate rather than pretty pictures. Suscribed for more help along the way.
oh gosh it is really complicating formulas or method to create a spiral sharp. My head is still whirling crazy...But thanks for your interesting video.
Wow, Don't know if I'll ever draw a helical spiral but the techniques for dealing with lines, splines and hidden lines was great!

Peter, you are the Bob Ross of LibreCAD. Great videos!
Learning this to add a skill while I am between jobs. Great tutorials! I'll be back to watch again after I graduate from beginner level.

Excellent tutorial! This has answered a lot of questions about working with splines. Thanks :D
16:50 Version 2.1.3 You can already divide that spline (if it is what you wanted to do).
Thank you. I am learning a lot.
Peter, you are excellent!
well done!!
like your presentation, I am new to Librecad, and value your skills, Thank You

This is a really complex way to generate a sine wave, but your videos are excellent. Please keep them up.

With your obvious knowledge of the workings of LbrCAD; can you suggest: how to remedy; the Dim-ANGULAR switching off - ALL SNAP OPTIONS? Thanks!

How about stencil lettering (cutting out letters in a stencil-like manner)?
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm looking into it, but it's trickier than I thought.
It looks like you drew a 2D projection of a helix, but not a spiral...
