A Eduardo , saludos desde Argentina, hace poco descubrí tu canal y me suscribí. Muy buen material. Gracias . Respecto a Navia es uno de mis fotógrafos favoritos y una persona tan clara para expresar sus ideas.
Again another great video. I was also in Uzbekistan just before COVID, found it fascinating, I wish I had spent more time shooting the Hotel Uzbekistan, it's so iconically "Soviet".
Learned about your work in the video you did with Tim Jamieson and I am so happy to see more of your work and approach. To me very insightful and in find myself both reflecting on it as well as practicing. Daghan Salamat from the Philippines
Thank you so much for your perspectives on this. Too many photography channels focus on gear or technical aspects, but your channel offers a great balance between the technique of your photography as well as the 'thought' behind it (such as exoticism). Many thanks for that!
I am preparing my trip to Sri Lanka and noticed that my route is based on the tourist and exotic life instead of everyday life. Everyday life is what I want to photograph and what makes me happy and what I am good at. That's why it's nice to hear your view on traveling and photography to put me back on the right track. Thanks for that.
Loving your style of videos and your thought provoking approach to street photography...and congrats on making it as a finalist on the Lensculture Streetphotography Awards. Richly Deserved.
Keep'em coming, Eduardo! Looking forward to see more photos from Uzbekistan, seems like very interesting place to shoot. I'm tired of seeing photos from India, Cuba etc...
thanks a million bud! I dont there's nothing wrong about shooting in those countries. Indeed India taught me a lot!... but I think I want my work to stand out, and choosing somewhat different locations can give it some uniqueness..... I'll focus mainly on Central Asia, Middle East and South America in the years to come. thanks for watching!
You've brought up some very important topics. I don't have a possibility to travel and I've been limited to photography in my city for almost 6 months. During this period of time I rediscovered my city and I learnt so much about people who live here, good (mostly) and bad. Now I'm excited for the season change, because it will transform both the locations and the people in these locations. The next time I travel I will try my best to understand the place with my photography instead of looking for exotic things.
I loved your work (fellow Angelino here). I've watched your videos about focal lenghts and mood, they were really helpful. I would love you to expand more on exposure and metering, I've found difficult to expose properly when I'm taking pictures on the streets.
I'm a new subscriber and is a newbie to photography. Your insights are really helping me dive into street photography. One question that I have in mind about street photography, is it still require to color grade them in post prod? If yes, do you have video on what to avoid to not over exaggerate the color in post prod?
I’m not sure if i understand the “require” part… you’re free to edit the photos as you want. In my case I don’t like to do much editing. Colour needs to be found in the scenes. No editing will save a badly constructed colour palette.
"Photography is a way for me to fall in love with the world" - Eduardo Ortiz. Awesome quote, lovely video!
Wow, what a beautiful surprise to see you here!
Glad you liked the video! I’ve learned a lot from you!

What a beautiful, great video. Thank you for sharing. You summed up some really important things here for me.
Yeeeeah a new video!

Thanks a million!!! Glad you think so, don’t really want to start creating clickbait videos or gear reviews to get more views.
appreciate the images shown and introduction to your influences
Yeah, to evolve we need to look to the past. thanks for watching
Amazing shots man 👌 how is Uzbekistan ? Heard its cheap and looks amazing
It’s so cheap!! A metro ticket in Tashkent is 0.08usd! And you can get a nice meal from 2/3 usd! Amazing
I Like very much your video. Very nice and natural style. Photography can be so easy and beautiful.
It really is! Especially when you get detached from the results.

I’m so glad you got the point of this video. I was worried about not making myself clear enough. Hope you have a nice trip in Sri Lanka.
La de los espejos está fenomenal

Se necesita mucha autenticidad para hacer lo que haces y decir lo que dices. Gran video.
Muchas gracias amor! 🥰

As Ersnt has used to say: "I'm not interested in shooting new things, but seeing new things" it was something like that XD
que grande eres, mucho amor desde Puerto Rico. Ven a visitar!
algun dia!! ojala pudiera conocer todo el mundo antes de partir al cofre.
This video earned you a sub! Cheers man!
woow thank you and welcome to this journey!

I expose manually thus the metering doesn’t do anything. I think I’ll explain it on a upcoming video

I can’t add your zine to the cart. Is it still available.
Yeah it is… it should be fine indeed
