A family in Kisii is crying out for justice after her 23-year-old son, Braxton Omae Mogesi, was abducted from their home in Jogoo on 3 July 2024 and killed miles away in neighbouring Homa Bay County in the Nyahera area on the outskirts of Oyugis town. A group of unknown men, now suspected to have been hired to deal with Gen Z protesters against the government's repressive policies in Kisii, raided the home of Isabela Mogesi in Jogoo Estate and rained terror on her children.
