Love Jack’s Shack. The Caribbean food I.e., Jerk chicken and local beer are excellent. Was there in April, returning in June.
I should have tried the chicken I think. I am more of a burger person though. Jack's is definitely a great spot to relax on a stop over in grand turk

Definitely worth the walk down the beach. And much quieter and less people 🙂
My family and I will be on the Horizon the week of Christmas. We definitely plan on going to Jack's Shack and Margaritaville.

JACK SHACK ROCKS!!!
Its definitely a great place to spend the day. And so ose to the ship still.
My question is how is the sand in the water by Jack's? Is it at rocky as the sand by the terminal? We really hurt our feet there earlier this month.
it has some smaller rocks there,, but its really mostly a sandy bottom there. its the area very close to the pier that has all the rocks and reef still.
We will be on the Carnival Magic in early January. We've been to Grand Turk once but did not know of Jack's until after we got back. We are definitely going to make the walk down there now!
your going to really enjoy it. Its a very chilled out place. lots of the crew and staff from the ship go there also. Plus the food and drinks are much cheaper than Margaritaville.

I am going to do more videos off the ship. Iam trying to contact some of the resorts in the ports to do a video there. Like mr. Sanchos in cozumel. Or the Hilton in la romama.

You could. You would have to go out to the parking lot of the terminal and get a taxi to take do there. It would only be a 5 or 6 minute taxi ride. And I did notice that people got taxi back ot the ship to save the walk.

The beach chairs in front of jacks shack are they free or do they charge for them?

Is Jack Shack by wheelchair or scooter?
@Paul you could go out to the parking.lot of the cruise terminal and get a taxi down there. It would only be a 5 minute ride. And then arrive directly at the main building.

Grand Turk is amazing. Only 87 hotel rooms on the island. Less than 5000 tot population.
You forgot to tell people that the blue umbrella are for free from carnival and the green umbrella are for a fee.

I am in a wheelchair is there a way to get to Jack shack without walking on the beach? Is there a hard surface area or paved area? Thank you very much
at the cruise terminal, there is a parking lot where they offer taxis. you would really be best to get a taxi down there and back. arrange with the driver to pick you back up. once you arrive there by taxi, its a very simple wheel long to the shack its self, which is a building really. It really would be too difficult to get there by walking the way area to Jacks its self.

Clamshells are free? I thought there was a fee for rental?
The clamshells and umbrellas on the right side of the pier all belong to the cruise terminal and are free. It's the ones closest to the water on the left side where locals are trying to change people.

To far of walk not worth it I wistay close to port especially using electronic scooter
I've been here twice before, and it hasn't been nearly as busy as this.
I guess it depends on the day and how large the ship is that's visiting the port. Slowly each time I go it gets busier as more people discover the place.

Agree, too much talking in the entire thing and too much repeating himself. 20 minute video and it took 15 minutes of it to get where he was going, not to mention how many times he said "Jack's Shack." (15x but who was counting) ? And that was just up to the 15 minute mark.
I am sorry, the real point of this video was to give as much detailed information as possible.

I was questioned about me making videos onboard without permission. So I had to stop. I will make videos in the port though. I have a grand Cayman video to upload in the next day or so when I get faster wifi.

Last time I went Jack said tell me at the end how many beers you drank and pay me at the end. They were $5 a piece. Honor system, How awesome is that?
