Facts, Vernon was approached by a group which would later be Elvis Presley Enterprises. They wanted to open Graceland as a museum. Vernon had planned on it and he became very sick and knew that Lisa who had inherited Graceland was still a minor so he told Priscilla to go ahead with the project. She fronted it for EPE and paid herself a million a year salary. That was LIsa's money. In other words EPE would have opened it anyway.

I agree. There was no picture on any walls at Graceland of his EX wife. She had it all put back like it was when she arrived in the 60s, and had her pic put on the wall. She did this also because Linda Thompson redecorated it all red, which Elvis loved and left it that way to the day he died. His ex wife just had to perpetuate the lie that she was the love of his life when he was actually blackmailed and forced to marry her. It just had to be all about her. She ruined Graceland historically.

@ElvisNewsExaminer how does another person finish a person's memoirs? And why would any pages of a Memoir be removed? A Memoir should be published as is in its entirety without any other persons help.
@@ninomesarinasinger6168 At the end of the video, I share what the publisher has said so far about the book - which is that Lisa recorded her memories on tape. Before she died, she asked Riley to help her finish the book. I don't know if Lisa had written anything on paper at that point. So they are now writing the memoir from Lisa's recorded words.
Priscilla will make sure anything Lisa said about her will be removed that is why I am not buying the book.riley should not let Priscilla run the show it is her mother's wishes

Priscilla had no right to change the colors and/or decor of Graceland. She was his EX-wife. She should have left it the way it was if it's supposed to be a 'real' representation of Elvis's personal choices & style. There are actually fans who doubt that Elvis wanted the decor & colors the way they were when he died - "Elvis would never choose them, it must have been Linda." Oh please, Elvis was all about being dramatic which anyone who has watched any of his concerts/shows should know. People were 'triggered' by Elvis in the 1950's precisely because of his clothing style & dance moves. I wouldn't dream of changing my ex-spouse's home in any way after they had died. Personally, I hope the upstairs is never open to the public - Elvis's entire life has been talked, gossiped & written about for decades; leave the man's private place private.

If it's that important to have Graceland a Museum, SHOW THE ENTIRE HOUSE, Not just bits and pieces of it, also the downstairs has been completely gutted and remodeled, why wasn't the upstairs, I think Graceland needs demolished and all the cars demolished in a junk yard it's not important to keep any of it.
Priscilla didnt have anything to do with the changes to the main floor of Graceland before it opened. It is a museum and the curators returned the main floor to how it was when Gladys first lived there and decorated it. It was different than it is now. It looked more 1950s when it first opened

People seem to have this fantasy belief about Elvis and Graceland. Yet they have never been to Graceland and seen how tacky it is.
