Looking to demo something like this in the mountains of Colorado. We had a mower last year that worked well but the tracks took a beating. 45 to 50 degree slopes with loose rock and rock outcropping to work around. Small evergreen trees and small shrubs are the main vegetation.

Demoing one of your machines tomorrow in conditions that are just as thick as this stuff and in some areas more thick. I hear the machine bogging down when hitting some of those thicker Woody saplings and was wondering if you guys were just going for broke for the sake of the video or will it really stand up to this kind of abuse and if so for how long? Are the blades rotary type like the ones that are on my Z riders? We run 60 and 72 inch 3 blade machines that are between 27 and 34 hp. Is it safe to say that if I can’t cut it with those mowers I won’t be able to cut it with you machine? Any information will be appreciated. I’m at the FAA tech center in southern New Jersey and like I said, someone is supposed to be coming down tomorrow and we are checking out one of these machines.

Hey Scott - thanks for the message! We just introduced a new blade kit for our machines called The Reaper. This is what you see operating in the video. They're designed for for thick, tall brush and can handle woody material/saplings up to 2" in diameter but are also suitable for finish mowing. Let us know how your demo goes!

This is getting close to the limits due to the density/volume of the woody brush. The Reaper blades make this possible and effective, while protecting the spindles and drive components. If the brush was spaced out a little more, or just moving the mower slower, there would be much less bogging down.

      Hello there, fellow Caldwell!
      Yeah, lol, $63k now!
I'd like to figure out how to build my own for a fraction of the cost. Slowly learning how to TIG weld at the moment.
