I think i've seen it on PS store a couple of days ago or maybe was a similar old game... I'll give it a chance, thanks for the little but straight to the point review 👍🏻
If you can grab it for cheap it is worth a playthrough, it is a fun game, just be prepared for the lack of analogue controls! Thanks for the comment and the feedback! :)
This was more or less my first game ever. I loved it but it was also very hard to my child self. I would actually wear a ski-helmet with goggles when playing the game and feel like a real rebel pilot 😅. Fun fact: the live action footage here was the first shot for a Star Wars project since the Ewok tv movies in 1984-1985. Shortly after that came Jedi Knight which also did footage with love actors against digital backgrounds.
I've played lots of Star Wars games when I was younger. This is the only PS1 Star Wars game iv played. I played it once on a Saturday afternoon and completed it.
There is nothing wrong with FMV's if the acting is good. Ok the videos are pixelated but if the story is good I don't mind. Wing Commander 3 was good, and I also enjoyed the X-Files game. Both has a lot of FMV's. Oh and I played starfox on the snes so many times! Loved it!
@@TheBacklogQuest. Wing Commander 3 was amazing. In a way, it pioneered the way for what eventually would become streaming and youtube: video on a computer screen.
I was very surprised about WC3, in my review video I mentioned a lot of things what I enjoyed and how deep the game is, with elements I not even expected. Like it does matter which wingman you take on a mission as each has a different personality.
Its for pc, but for space sims, the xwing series (including tie fighter).

Wow! Such a cool memory! What you described is pure fun gaming as a kid! How old were you, when you played it?

This is a fun game to play trough on a lazy saturday afternoon. :)
There was a small "secret": different difficulties had slightly different endings.
Really? Thanks for sharing this info, it is surprising how much effort the developers put into this game!
People give FMV a hard time. This was basically just Starfox mechanically.
