- Dimash Kudaibergen was born in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, on May 24, 1994.

In my 43 years, I have never been so mesmerised by a singer to the point that I wanted to take leave from work to travel overseas just to attend his concert. I have watched this 100 times and still get chills every time. Dimash has an unheard of range and has been training since the age of 5. He is known for skill level and performance levels as well. There is good, there is great and then there is Dimash in a league of his own. The Michael Jordan of vocalists.
He also sings in 12 languages, plays 6 instruments and has perfect pitch. Speaks fluently in Kazakh, Russian and has been learning English.
He became famous overnight in China after performing this song on the Chinese Singer 2017 and was 22 or 23 at the time.
He is 26 now and improving his craft each time. Also, he is 6 foot 3 which is sometimes hard to tell due to the large scale of the venues he performs on.

Dimash is life-changing. Once you begin listening to Dimash, your soul opens and you hear the voice from heaven. His vocal range is close to 7 octaves is currently 26 and has been studying music since he was 5 years old. I am one of his “Dears” (what he calls his fans) in Canada and love Ogni Pietra, Sinful Passion and more recently Samaltau, I Miss You, Across Endless Dimensions and anything he sings in Kazakh. He performs in 12 different languages, speaks Kazakh, Russian and English and has won cultural awards in his native Kazakhstan. His parents are also musicians and quite known in Kazakhstan. He plays a variety of instruments including dombra, drums and piano. He started gaining international recognition in 2017 when he participated as the youngest invitee to the professional singer competition in China, “I am Singer”. His breakout performance was SOS, but each of his weekly performances introduced new elements of his phenomenal vocal abilities. His covers of Vitas’ Opera 2 and Lionel Richie’s Hello leave you speechless. Dimash also has a more obscure video of him singing a Queen Medley with an outstanding group called Super Vocal Boys - really worth digging up if you can. Some of your info is not quite correct. His parents sing contemporary music, not opera. Dimash started piano at 5 and sang in the choir as a youngster. He only started serious formal vocal training with Marat Aitimov at age 15.

I listened to Motley Crue, Cinderella and Depeche Mode before I discovered Dimash, and for almost a year now I can hardly listen to anyone else but him. His voice has some kind of magical effect, and he himself is a very wise and interesting person.

I didn't just get chills. An obsession was born instantly. Five days after I listened to SOS for the first time I discovered that he was holding a concert in New York in 25 days. I wailed for 5 more days that I wasn't going to be able to be there... then I bought a $400 concert ticket for the best seat I could get, plus short notice full price plane tickets halfway across the country. I didn't have that money to spend. I REGRET NOTHING. I have now done the same thing for his March concert in Prague that probably won't even happen. People below will tell you all the other amazing performances to watch. He is still working in several directions and I don't think he has quite figured out his place. He can sing literally anything; any style, any genre, any technique, and give you chills while doing it. Can't wait to find out where he settles.

This song was the first song I experienced from Dimash. I was watching a reactor that I liked and he was making his top 10 list of 2019 and Dimash was on the list. Well, I like all kinds of music and had never heard of him before and the reactor spoke so highly of him and showed a clip and I was hooked. That was just last April and I feel like I've come very late to the party. He's so wonderful and I have to be get my Dimash fix every day. You're gonna have a great time listening to Dimash - he has a HUGE variety of songs in many languages.

A friend convinced me to give him a listen mid 2019. I was immediately transported by his beautiful voice. Fast forward to December 2019 and I traveled across the country to see his concert in NYC. As Kpoppers would say, he's my bias. He's elevated my taste in vocalists to the point where I just don't want to hear anything ordinary.
Or anything else... It's really hard to not listen to him every day. Now only long beloved artists can get my attention.

He really is special.. he sings directly to the soul.. he makes me have tears without knowing why, and actually I don't feel sad.. but I literally cry.. and I'm a grown man.

Apart from his impressive abilities, there is a (emotioinal) presence about him when on stage that draws you in and not many artists have that. This is what sets him apart. No matter what might be happening on stage, you can't take your eyes off him because he commands you to give your attention completely. Very few have had that 'power' as performers, they were/are superstars. Dimash is our worlds superstar.

You have no idea the amount of talent he has as this is the tip of the iceberg. He sings in many languages including English, Russian, Kazakh, Ukrainian, Italian, Mandarin, Turkish etc. One of the must see and hear performances is Sinful Passion at New Wave. It is in Russian but has subtitles. There are so so many that you will be utterly blown away.
Dimash is seen as THE best singer in the world by millions of his fans called "dears". "Starmania"..it is a young man contemplating suicide...Dimash has been professionally academy trained since the age of 5...He now has 2 University degrees one in classical music and one in contemporary music, This last year He Aced his Master's Degree in composition...and yes when you see some of his more recent performances, you will see more maturity in his voice. .Every one has pointed you to "Sinful Passion" It is a great choice....For more performances go to Dimash's YT channel, He even posts his concerts.. Not to be missed... In my opinion the best way to experience Dimash.. He sold out Barkley Center in New York last year, people from all over the world fly in to see him..

Dimash (DeeMahsh) has been studying music since he was 5 and through puberty, so he was able to keep the higher range. Dimash is also a great storyteller in his songs, and performs the emotions as well as sing. "Daybreak" is a passionately sad song. He does covers as well, and his version of Lionel Richie's "Hello" is fabulous! I'm glad you enjoyed his performance.
