    Spectacular build! Everytime I think that I Ned to find a 914/6, I see something like this.

    A 1975
    1.8 liter
    Was my first car that I ever bought.
    Never got around to restoring it.
    Sat in a garage for 10 years before I moved and sold it to a guy in Alpine Texas.
    The guy I sold it to races 914’s and he fixed it up and raced it for a while. Then sold it to someone in Alpine Tx where it continues to exist to this day. Providing someone a excellent little ride.
    Beautiful 914-8 you have!
    I am sure it’s extremely fast.
    Definitely would love to know it’s top speed and handling after a v-8 is installed.
    Godspeed to you.

      Thank you for your comment. We'll never know its top speed, but it's deep in speeding ticket land . . .

    How hard and costly is it do a V8 swap?

    • @CalClassix
      @CalClassix  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very hard, and very costly as well. Makes no financial sense anymore in 2022 or '23.

      @@CalClassix that is depressing! Although, I wondered. I could buy a used 911 and not have to do all the work.

    Please stop butchering automobiles, go back to doing it to cars, ie American cars
    Porsche's are automobiles and of limited production, you have destroyed this automobile and made a piece of junk
