I was walking through the park and noticed a few elderly people....they seemed to be always by themselves and this song came to mind. I realized I'm not far behind, found an empty bench by the library.....

Love this song. One of the songs I actually learned by heart. Like your cover, it shows real feeling. Just wish more people had true empathy for the folks out there who face life always fighting from behind if you know what I mean. My great uncle took care of his wife for thirty plus years after she had Alsheimer disease. Burlington Bill busking on the road and here on you tube.
