Ok , here it is . Hoping you can help me out as i am an amateur .My set up : Tripod - Manfrotto 055xpro3 Head - 504hd & 502ah Slider - Edelkrone same as you have . * To be able to use the 504 head first ( ontop of tripod ) , should i have bought the same Tripod as yours ?? Will the same system that you have used work with my tripod ???
John Olzard Yes. When using two heads with the slider, the rig can get pretty heavy, but should still work with your tripod - just watch the weight! Also, put the smaller head on the slider.
Neil Perez Yes, they will work with the Nikon equipment as those are equipment neutral, they just control the motion, not the camera. Thanks for the question!
hey i saw your review of this slider. i have noticed when you were sliding the rig to one end the tripod head was moving also. did you forgot to tight it properly or such movement will remain in one tripod system ???
haseeb amin You can do it either way, lock it down or keep it fluid, depending on what you want. We wanted to move around the tripod head and so we kept it fluid! Thanks for the comment!
Hi, i hv checked the weight capacity of the two fluid head, 502 and 504, then, put all load from the slider, the Manfrotto MVA512WK Sympla, camera and lens, and audio recorder and external monitor. With all due respect, do you think this(504 & 502) set is still well function , without any problems , if so, shall we let manfrotto inform their customer for the actual weight capacity. Imagine, who decide which one for their set do depend on the load capacity.... thanks
+Ron Tuijtel Hey Ron, we were using the Manfrotto Sympla Mattebox System, here's a link: www.adorama.com/BGMVA512WK1.html?gclid=COKDm429scwCFYsmhgod8ykByQ
For those which are looking to buy one check this video firs - it does has issues with the threat - I had to replace mine (they made me pay for the shipping - it got replaced took almost 2 weeks... ) - th-cam.com/video/nUBzq907Vww/w-d-xo.html not very happy with the quality - like the concept.
Tripod head is moving every time you slide the camera.

Thanks for posting this. do all three sizes of this slider take the action modules ?
Hey there, thanks for watching! Yes, they do.
The tripod head moved when you slide your camera. Any solution to that?
A low profile tripod head that can handle much more weight than you need is the best way to address shake.
You mention that you plan on getting the Action and Target module for your slider. Will those modules work with your Nikon equipment?
Neil Perez Yes, they will work with the Nikon equipment as those are equipment neutral, they just control the motion, not the camera. Thanks for the question!

I have one, I've got it a week ago, and I will experiment I think it's wonderful!
do you have the action module? does it pull vertically? (if you are under the correct weight limit?)
Cj Jayamaha No verticals, it's not strong enough. Not even tilted.
Bill Horne Cj Jayamaha We don't have this one motorized, but I'd imagine it'd be too heavy for that at any angle.
am having issues attaching the tripod head to the upper screw as it keeps sliding down , how did you come over that? appreciate your help
Joe Matouk Turn the screw on the slider to pop it up, then once it is up turn it back to lock it. That should help!
dont know if i missed it but what tripod names in this video?

Kan, we've used it numerous times and have had no issues, it is a solid rig and works well.
What model is your Manfrotto tripod ??
John Olzard We have the 546B w/ mid-level spreader, here's a link! bhpho.to/1MkQKR2
What manfrotto rig are you using?

that matte box/hood looks like a dr. suess item.
Danny Pops it did come with green eggs and ham, but it is very practical and works great.
nice

You state that is the Plus, not the Plus Pro. There is a difference.
