There is a phenomenal event that occurs in ones brain called Pareidolia. It is a form of Apophenia, which is a general term for the human tendency to seek patterns in random information and see familiar shapes in everyday things like clouds or stone. It is not unusual among humans. We all do it. And, it can become a real and true artistic gift. Whereas you see animals, I see human faces in many of those stones. Neither of us are wrong in our interpretation. But, those are not man made native artifacts. They are geofacts touched by our very own personal artistic interpretation. I am grateful for this video and truly hope this info helps others along the journey we all take to understand our past.

.................do you still feel that the art work on stones are only seen thru our own wonderful imagination......smiles...................or could they be something else.......such as....................." these folks were surrounded with art and color ".........................Why would that be so strange...................would that make our noble selves... appear less....smiles

The reason why you see human faces is because your ancestors created this type of art. I bet you don’t see human faces in clouds, but you can see them in his artifacts. I bet you don’t see horses in birds and eagles in your oatmeal… But you see them in the stones because ancient people created them. Swallow the pill that what you were told was not the complete truth, you don’t have to think that they lied to you, you can believe they didn’t know either. You can believe anything you want! I’m just shoving out options to help you deal with the fact that human beings have been on this earth for not just thousand by millions of years! ❤ thank you Ray for providing this form of discussion

Yes indians saw stuff too cause they were human and it's all they had . No computers in moms basement. But out in the field day after day. That's how you learn to recognize the repeated themes and patterns. This channel is awesome. One of the best. The laymen "Archeological" types would never understand what those with real lengthy over all hands on experience will know assertain and be able to acknowledge and recognize.

I agree with you all. I too have many treasures and sit with them and surround myself with them. I rather have them than any other gem. Happy hunting.

Ray some of the stones you have with that round indentation were probably bearings for a fire bow and drill.

Cool stones. I also find many stones that are carved into faces, animals, and tools. Sometimes I just pick one up because it's almost as if they are highlighted and stand out from others or they seem to be melting out of the Earth, then after I sit quietly with them, the face will appear and a story will come to my mind.

Here's a secret..... you will have better luck finding them on a cloudy day. And if you look at your rocks that have pictures on them under firelight, you will see them clearly. Since we don't have bonfires in the middle of our houses, I use candle light.😉 I am Cherokee. There are many secrets still kept. P.s. each time you find a rock with an animal carved on it.. you will find that animals footprint ( or paw print haha) somewhere on the rock as well. I have an idea that maybe they were a type of " flash card" to teach the youth about different animals, but that's just in my imagination❤️ or as I like to call it" my minds eye"😊.

@@skyblueeyes9968 Thank you for the advice! I have been noticing exactly what you mean. It's an amazing world in the stones and I live in an old school house that looks like a castle and I find many that seem to be meant for children's toys almost and story stones. I found one story stone that's the tortoise and the hare! Lately it's all been coming together and revealing absolutely wonderful things. Magnificent 🌌🐢🤍

It's Lifes History written and carved into Stone. Sometimes when I find a new Stone I myself have to set down & admire it thinking & knowing just how long since human hands have held it.

The bird in front of the mountain may have meaning, I think these people are the ones who left my area, about 12k years ago.
This is Mount Blanca, And I belive those, people are who left colorado 12k years ago.
This area was Where they were trapped until the ice sheet from the last Ice age receded, opening up Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas.
Those people were still preclovis. #Archaic.
In that time this was like Eden. Bird estuary they hunted for thousands of years.

If what you’re using to judge the authenticity of an idea is compare what everyone else has come up with already then no one would ever discover anything new.
We used to think the world was flat. We used to think that rats were born from trash, like magic.
We used to think a lot of stupid things, and if it weren’t for people, discovering and exploring ideas that were against the established beliefs… we would still be in the Stone Age. I feel that you are discouraging him for no reason, actively going out of your way to do so. Might want to explore why you would do that.

These stones were sharp when used by the people, what eroded those to be smooth? Water, desertification? They were not sanded down or polished, they are very old, much older than you think, watch my last video on the shape of the hand axe.
