Nice ! I'm from East Tenn. I have an amazing collection of effigies. Doubles , triples , quadruples. I think some were used as props in storytelling.

Yeah I run out of patience trying to figure it out but I have the same maybe 6 to 7000 pieces in my collection. They definitely used them as mementos, stories, religious trinkets, and the reason why are archaeologists don't recognize some of them is because it contradicts The narrative timeline.

The only true artifact I'm seeing is what you called a "celt" appears to be an unfinished or undrilled gorget....The rest is just Rocks and Geofacts.

The first peoples arrived from Asia, crossing the Bering Land Bridge, which theoretically connected Asia to North America, thousands of years ago. They're called 'Paleo Native Americans" by archeologists. They left much evidence of their existence in the New World, including a prolific number of artifacts and relics. You might even find some of them in your own backyard.

You can sale them being university verified but since they couldnt figure how they did such fine chipping and such they wont consider them artifacts cause so little is known but came from the people of hunting gathering. So sale why u can would be nice to keep collection together out of respect.

I’ve got effigies and arrowheads. Until you understand how much Indians looked at rocks religiously, you’ll live your life ignorant of what all the natives did with rocks. Natives did things you wouldn’t believe. The congarees would grab herring juveniles from their nests an raise them as domestic animals. This is just an example of how different native life was from today. Yes there are millions of effigies, perhaps more effigies than arrowheads bc of how religious natives were. You guys are just sounding ignorant or jealous maybe?

I'm having problems believing they made these with stones like that. I have a few that are immaculate with the chisel work. One particular bear is a quarter inch including the massive fallen over tree he's standing behind. His paws and face are damn prefer at less than mm size. Also have stones the size of a dime with immaculate multi faces with bows, deer and turkey, in awesome detail. They also used the Petoskey stones and fossils to make hunting scenes and animals with insane touches... Tiny. Anyways awesome video.

Sir, excellent just seen a video on this by jim gaskin he will back everything you said and then some. People got arrowhead fever and alway call them just a rock. Not to mention friends family who laughed at me and said there was nothing there. But everything mrs gaskin and echoed by you I've speculated for last four years like the art was guiding my discovery. You should read up on the Egyptian influence.
But it boils down to this, I've got countless bears free standing and what I call patina projection being they used the inner color of rock to aid in the contrast in forming image. To those with a Daytona speedway straight running thru there heads listen up. How in one location can you have so many anatomically correct images many depicting same person or cheif with head dress. No two rain drops are the same so how can twin rocks lying side by side erode identically. Thats argument enough but some folks don't have enough imagination to have seen the pattern of repetition. It all started for me by noticing the ex's in rocks "x" afterrock. Even have rings and giraffes along with lion actually several types of big cats. Last but definitely not least there are without a doughty multiple images ie mammoths then flip rock around to see a face and so on. Must have close to two totes full. Managed to pick up a few eggs and dinosaur heads.

I also have hundreds, I have always been fascinated. I didn't know they were actually tools, I just collected them. Some that I have, I do not like having them in my home. They fit right in your hand, striated tool marks. After research, I learned about "bent trees". Then.. last summer, I found a 80 pound pointed rock in the creek. It had engravings, a deer, bird, camp or "A" shape and slash marks. Very very cool. Do you have any advice on how to research my area, and earlier people's? We knew there was arrowhead fields for 40 years, caves, large first starting rocks, or grinders. I am not sure. Fayette, Alabama. (Dead water creek). The library has a few books, like newspaper.. many native American areas around here. Thank you for your video.

People really think the people didn’t have anything they enjoyed to do, like make art ? Open your minds, they were beautifully connected to the earth. Art is everything.. if we can build stupid skyscrapers, they could have made art in rocks! Why is that so hard to believe? I don’t understand . The Indian people were more connected than we ever will be, and I’m jealous ! And finding their stuff is wonderful’ I’ve been finding it, and hey guess what? If it’s just my imagination… at least i have one, and also believe the people before us , that got their land stolen…. Weren’t just stupid. They used the earth for everything without destroying what keeps us alive… and they had gratitude for the earth for what they had to use.. that my friends, is beautiful. That is spirit.
Thank you for this info! I’m going to go examine my rocks now… lol

@@Dougarrowhead You know I truly do wonder? I think back to my beginning days collecting & how oblivious I was in the beginning and shudder to think how ignorant I would still be if this was the "education" I was getting. Thank God I learned from a knowledgeable collector. I can remember coming home with stuff like this when I had no idea what was real and what was my overactive uneducated imagination making a natural rock into something. No filters these days when everyone can have a platform on any given subject even if they have no idea what they're talking about.

@@edwinbrashear7729 I totally agree. I started over 35 years ago with my dad and brother. Several older folks in my family have been serious collectors. I got started right. So many of these people are giving bogus information, and plenty believe it. I'm glad my sons are able to discern between a weathered odd shaped rock and an artifact.

@@Dougarrowhead And the "True artifact hunter's choir" said AMEN!!!! Videos such as this are astounding & only continue the dumbing down of America & with todays tech the world I suppose. I gave up long ago on trying to enlighten any of these folks, you try to help them out and they along with the followers that take their spills hook, line & sinker gang bang you for being "critical"...LOL

Absolute bull shit folks, don't buy into it, it will make you ignorant, hate to be so negative but that's the truth. Based on this kind of b.s. every rock you pick up is rock art, it's absolutely absurd from start to finish.
