My dads 6.0 had an issue with number 7 injector where it was shorting out and sending power back to the FICM and that would shut the truck off/it wouldn’t start, the FICM got fried and once we replaced the injector and FICM it hasn’t had a problem since.
I have a platinum and it is super nice, I don't know that in the long run it's worth the price tag for the upgrades. Unless you really like a back massage while you drive.
Sure is! I traded him my 03’ SVT Cobra for this truck. It’s changed a bunch since we traded. When I got it from him it was 190/75s and a stock turbo with the build trans from one of my previous trucks. Everything has changed since then. We’re still friends to this day!

Have not got it back to shop yet, truck is stored for winter months. Do you think that I should go ahead and purchase kdd o ringed cylinder heads and be done with it . . It seems on the y way to prevent head gaskets from blowing out. They claim the o ringed heads back up the gaskets,preventing any more gasket issues. @@jamesbutler2983 Absolutely! I have KDD Aluminum Port and Polish O Ring heads on this truck in the video. I’ve seen over 85psi of boost and I haven’t ever had an issue with these heads.

Them damn Warren injectors man. Seems like they take a shit after 10k miles or so. Definitely looking into something else for mine. Mine has 175/30s and one took a shit and it’s taken them a month and half to rebuild. Who knows how good they will do.
Here is my take on Warren injectors. They are single handed the largest HEUI injector manufacture out there for this platform. There is no possible way they won’t have a failure. When you built 100k sets a year of course your going to have some bad ones VS the guy that builds 100 sets a year. I run Warren’s and personally have never had any issue, the issue with HB was 100% unrelated and wasn’t Warren’s fault. Nobody to blame here but myself.

What’s your oil pump situation? Bone stock? Because I heard running bigger injectors your hpop will suck all the oil out of the reservoir and the truck will kinda slow up and go down on power because there isn’t oil for the injectors. Is there a high or low pressure oil pump to over come this?
Why didn't you plug a scanner into it and see that number one had issues instead of buying all the harnesses swapping out pcm , ficm , injector harness .
If you knew half the issue the wiring was causing you would understand that a simple scan with a computer wasn’t going to remedy my issues. “Number 1” being the only issue a scanner would tell me still wouldn’t explain the crank no start, running on a different year PCM, intermittent idle and sporadic shutting on and off of the truck. A lot more underlying issues that a simple scan won’t tell you. Mechanic work isn’t as simple as scanning things with a computer....If it was then everyone would do it.
Oh yeah I'm a diesel mechanic myself guess I should throw my scanner away lol what you should have done before throwing parts at it would be use that scanner see that number 1 is the issue use test light see if injector is getting signal if so then ohm out injector lol newbie

Since it's a diesel power stroke, what's the torque number?..it's funny to me how someone gets a diesel and brags about how much " horse power " it has...
@@lovemysisterojl 03-04 its 560 @ 2000rpm. The 05-07 is 570 @2000rpm. I feel that if this engine is making a 1000hp then it's probably safe to say that it's putting out at or north of 1600 lbs of torque.

Stock on a 6.0 is 520 I think this is probably 1300 1400 torque
