the "radiant reaction" card comes form a clip where a reyna jumpspots a short on bind and knifes the kayo knife mid air, W riot

Wait dude, as someone who religiously plays Val but stopped buying battlepasses way long ago cuz they’ve all been hella mid. THIS is the one that’s making me break out the wallet again. Usually when I review a bp, I personally check to see how many things I can count on one hand that I can’t live without, say it’s an S tier buddy or card, & if it’s not enough to make me break I just don’t buy it & keep it pushing. But there are literally just so many good things in this bp, on top of the fact the Comet skins are a total cop & a half, I’m defo breaking my window shopping streak to buy this pass.

people saying that the comet variation is like the sentinels of light in 4k, but i personally think its a W tho. def gonna buy this because of the cloudweaver outlaw

also this is a W battle pass but i still am pissed we got three of the same archetypes for the bp melees in A ROW... that's half a year since we've had a different animation melee in a BP. I also hope they don't think that this is just a thing to stop us from bitching for once and they go right back to mediocre things in the next act.

For my opinion it's more like the cosmic skinline with the different chromas

This BP is my first and likely only purchase on val, the comet skins go crazy and for 900 INR getting that line is insane tbh. Barring the judge, phantom and op this basically gives me a skin for everything which I'm not complaining about

I understand why people are hating on riot for not adding any insane outlaw skins but after taking almost a year on my college course (coding with a bit of game dev) I now understand why riot haven't done any crazy outlaw skins yet. It basically boils down to the design and integration time, it take's about a year or a bit less for riot to fully integrate the crazy cool animations because of fixing any bugs that come with the integration of the skins.

The comet series is definitely a reference to Gundam/Voltron and other Mecha anime. Such a dope battle pass skin collection. Way better than the retrowave skins last pass lol

This battlepass gotta be riot's Gundam redemption. The 'Orion' bundle was a total flop and Gundam fans who were excited about the collab were left severely disappointed. The space theme for the comet battlepass skinline + "build your own vandal card" (alluding gunpla, essentially build your own Gundam mech figurine) + the mecha buddy are very obvious references to Gundam. Glad Riot heard the fans out and are trying to make it right.

Not using the two handed sword animations for the knife like the prelude knife and the other sword was kind of a missed opportunity ngl. ruin is still best battle pass knife but these gun skins are W for a battle pass. I am a bit sick of the one handed long weapon animation.
I just bought my first 1000VP just for this bp cuz I thought it was good but then it only unlocked the first 2 levels tiers 1-10 for me do I need to keep grinding out the battlepass to unlock the rest? I don't get it...

new comet collection looks better than the new sakura skin bruh.also riot has kinda been raising their skin price recently since the new sakura bundle and the primordium bundle should’ve cost 1775 for each gun cus there’s no reload or inspect
10:45 NAH, THE PURPLE AND GOLD IS ACTUALLY THE BEST, it literally looks like an Astra themed skinline with that color combo, added with some shimmer and iridescent effects. definitely one of the best bp skins ever
that shorty is already equivelant to other battlepass entirely cause it has just one animation

@@wcom9999 when you buy a battle pass it gives you an XP boost and you have to play in order to get all the items. You can also purchase after getting the necessary XP but that means you need to play more

Valorant be dropping Crazy Battlepass skins right after I quit Playing
Valorant has released since 2020, and yet in 5 years we only have 4 worthy battlepass named:
Ruin with ruin dagger Released October 13th, 2020,
Artisan with artisan foil Released September 8th, 2021,
Velocity with karambit Released January 11th, 2022,
and Comet with comet sword. May Released 1st 2024
I played valorant since late 2022 and after this i learned that in summary riot only give us 1 worthy battlepass per year, but 2023!!!!
Alot of people will hate on knife for having default axe animations imo i love the default axe anims so this is a w for me

No new map (yet) and no content after this BP is just a grim horizon for Val rn. I also like a lot amount in this BP but like, I don't see an incentive to grind it especially for the same knife animation 3x in a row?
At least they put a bit more into the BP this time. I still think there should be more vfx and kill sounds on the primary skin line in the BP.
