The sound every time you hit a villager has me dying! LMAO! But wow these neighborhoods are stunning and so unique! I love these videos Lex, you bring us so much inspiration for so many different themes! Great job to all the island creators
And yeah the talent of these people that have their islands looking THAT GORGEOUS is INCREDIBLE and has me super jealous lol I watch these videos to try and get inspired to make my island just as beautiful as these are but I also don’t want to like copy them and do EXACTLY like they do you know? I just wish I had the time and patience they do to be able to do all that landscaping and terrraforming and be able to place everything exactly where it needs to go w/out getting distracted or frustrated af and giving up halfway through it lol 😂

These make me feel like I gotta up my game for my neighborhood. The hard part is that my island is based on the Shadowhunter books, and I don't like clutter. So I have lots of spaces that are glaringly empty.
@@bootybutt9080 I got bored with playing, so not a lot has changed. The Alicante portion looks great, as does the vampire and warlock areas, but the fair folk area is lacking, and the werewolf territory is empty, other than the campsite.
@@suddenenigma lmao i feel that. i’ve restarted 7 times in total (all with a 3 star rating or below) and tried 4 different aesthetics and couldn’t seem to get literally anywhere. i’m working on a farmcore/whimsical island rn, and i would say my biggest problem is just lack of motivation tbh. although the shadowhunter theme would look amazing when it was finished (i’ve done a halloween based island before and it was pretty cool but i only finished like half of it)
I am absolutely in love with that seaside docks dream! Wow! That one, along with the one that has all 10 villagers lined up in a row at the back to the island, and how each of their houses had a themed yard...This makes me want to renovate my entire island again!

As a person who shares an island with someone. I would love to make neighborhoods for my villagers but we already have neighborhoods but they aren’t big enough to fully decorate so what I do with MY neighborhood is that I put down custom designs and items to represent them For example: for sprinkle I put a cute tea table and put birthday cupcakes on it

omg this is so creative and amazing, one of the reason i love acnh is because theres lot of creative talented people and how handy the game is. like you will never getting bored of it because there will always be new kind of layout , new design, new theme and new ideas i feel bad for not being imaginative and creative person and all i can do was search up ideas on youtube to copy some ideas

I find it so difficult to come up with a plan/map for my island 😭 I have a very specific theme in mind (mix of fairycore and circus/carnival theme) but idk how to translate that on my island 😓 This video reassured me on the fact it's ok to do smth different so I'll try to keep my motivation up and continue creating and decorating :) Thank you !

All of these are so pretty. I plan to start my island over. I want to make it a real destination, but i lack imagination. I have nintendo online from a family member, i think. but no real friends to play with, to try to get all the different flowers and fruit. I wish i could just by purchasing or visiting different islands.

Mostly my biggest question is, it seems like there’s a ton of custom designs that players use - I believe anyone can get them, from what I’ve seen and read? Some of those stone type paths or flower/dirt paths are absolutely amazing and I’d love to use them eventually! How do you find them??

I don't have a nintendo subscription right now so I haven't been able to look on the machine at Able Sisters but I guess I was assuming you could just go there and see all of the designs to download if they were shared to it or something
When you get the Able Sisters shop, you’ll gain access to the custom design kiosk. You’ll have the option to put in a creator/design code, or you can just browse designs by searching through criteria or putting in design names! You have to have a Nintendo online membership to access the kiosk. But yes, anyone can use the designs :) I usually find codes on IG/Pinterest

Personally, I just Google some designs and see if I can find some that are posted. A lot of TH-camrs link them as well.
