Two cans.......$50.00 ...plus $350.00 house wash....plus $550.00 roof clean.....two jobs like this a day = $1,900 per day ...That's just under half million dollars a year.

Using dawn, fabuloso, a wheel brush, a 25 gal water tank, and a Hart 20v pressure washer, i cleaned $500 worth of cans at $15 a set In order to get my business name out, I handed out promotional pens and business cards at every house. I only advertised one time in a Of 3500 people. It may be a small service for others to add but it is a massive benefit for small time folks like myself to start with it to gain trust to work on bigger projects.

I went to a power wash convention earlier this year. There was a guy doing this. He’s for overseas somewhere I this Romania. He was giving us his testimony, he now has over $1,500 cans to clean on a regular bases and makes great money. He’s been doing it for a few years he said. It’s a great idea

I was looking at getting into power washing on the side to make up when we aren't mowing but wasn't sure. Now I think I might offer this 20-30$ a can. Already have a 1750 psi pressure washer so hey....this could be extra money 🤷‍♂️

It's a good idea. We have in my area a company called "Coastal Can Cleaners" which have large specialized trucks with an elaborate machine attached that pick up the cans, spray them out, and dump the remnants into some kinda of disposal chamber. They appear to do tons and tons of business. I know I perform the same function and less expensive. Don't need a huge truck to clean a garbage can.

Nice cans. "I've never thought about it before" I literally messaged you about this business idea when you were at 15k XD. But anyways this business is no joke, google sparkling bins on google. They legit make trucks that are designed for bin cleaning. But depending on your market can cleaning typically goes from $5-7 per can, that is for a company with one of those tucks were it is literally a 5 minute job. Not as easy for you as you have to hook up to water.

I use a small trailer with a 4x4 setup with a foam canon and a 135gal tank I use the tank so I don't have to hook up at every house. Saves alot of time.

    • @beerbeforebreakfast

Lubricants- engine and pump changed as often as possible. Once a week on engine, every 2 for pump and having every sorta o ring known to man. Also having your pump set on buffer tank relay. Those 3 things alone and you will basically never have major issues. Winterize when not in use for over 2 weeks.
These are just a general start point. You may make your own tweeks as you go. But you do these things your gonna be pretty much super reliable.

Can cleaning is an upsell tack on type deal or a monthly charge of X a month with a yearly self renewing contract of price Y per year... that way you can sell enough can cleaning contracts to cover overhead and labor for the month without actually having to do any driveways

I would charge $25 to 30 bulks for both...depending on the condition it's in.

I think a good selling point is a clean can is healthy for your family not to mention keeping critters away because the can stinks.

I include it in a Housewash as a bonus ... Only if they're empty
I throw some SH in there let it soak ...
Rinse it out ... Hit some trouble spots
If I got a call for just some cans ... I would probably say $25 a can ...

Mike what clean products would you recommend? Would regular dish soap work? Then pressure wash... then SH .. then rinse out?

I added this to my business about a couple of Months ago. I charge $40 first can and $20 for any additional cans. Bimonthly accounts or emergencies plus $20. Some homeowners have several cans. Ive done 6 trash bins for just one home once.

What do you do with the bigger chunks of trash that may be inside?

@@BusinessAcc4me I have a wand grabber from Home Depot($10) and I keep contractor bags with me and charge $1 per bag or use the clients bags. Old broom and dustpan goes a long way.

Nice cans. I would charge 50 and 25 for additional cans like most in the comments. Ready to see how much you are charging. 👍

I don't agree with you. You will not make that money to charge 50 dollars per trash can. People will not pay for that
