Just a thing i noticed on the vid. Im a window cleaner transferring into powerwashing. When you rinse windows hit them from 5 to 6 feet away. The concentrated pressure can break the seals on double pane windows. You might not get blamed but you can cost your client hundreds if not thousands in replacement cost. Rule number 1 do no damage.
@@randomguy2369 my point wasn't that you would break the glass the glass can take a hell of a lot more than you might think. But a rounded double pane window there is a steel separator with a rubber gasket. If you break the rubber gasket or push too hard on the glass it will break the seal between the rubber gasket breaking the air tight seal between the double panes. This will allow moisture to get into and between the two panes and cause fogging and drip marks. The only real way of fixing this is to replace the doublepain of glass. And if it's let's say a pillow or an Anderson window there is no way to do that without destroying the window so they have to buy a new window. For the glass to break you'd probably have to hit it with 4000 PSI dead center two or three inches off the center and pull the trigger and do a direct blast.

Yup! Exactly. Starting a business next spring it's like the guy who takes a year off of college and never goes back lol. I started a masonry company 2 years ago in the winter time. There's no outdoor concrete work in Rochester New York. So I did exactly what this guy mentioned. I'll find an advertiser agency has signed up I started putting my name out there. By time spring came just by speaking to clients and selling myself and marketing myself properly I was able to secure jobs for the entire spring and early summer before I even had my business off the ground. So there's always something you can do to prep yourself. Don't wait till spring to start booking clients book them all in the winter and come spring you got a head start. Good luck everyone! I started my business all on my own now I got four employees just two years later and I'm looking to make six figures in year two. If I can do it anyone can do it. Stay positive and work hard!

I learned that sometimes you gotta take that leap of faith today instead of planning a well thought process for tomorrow, tomorrow may never come and when it does, those who did it yesterday are ahead! If someone is looking to get some money to start, consider cleaning parking lots or land around strip malls(think grocery stores with little restaurants in the same plaza). I drive a truck to grocery stores to pick up food waste to deliver to a farm and keep out of the landfill, you wouldn't believe the amount of trash blowing around these store parking lots!
Call Your Shot. I just acquired all my equipment except my soft wash system. I’ve seen so many ways on setting one up I just don’t know which way I should go with. My trailer a 5x8 will be delivered around Jan 5th. Then it’s time to get going.
Call your shot. Well I just finished watching this. I am a nobody, I have tried a lot of things, and have failed miserably at lots of things. People tell me all the time that I shouldn't do something because it's already been done. I guess I need to fix something. I also have the hardest time to get out of the house since I help my great aunt who is 96. She depends on me since I live in her house. My room is like a one bedroom apartment. I have been washing windows at my local church and they pay me a low amount. I did reach out in the community and was turned down because a big company was doing their windows. I am fixing to do a big project at the church to paint the lines and such in the parking lot. I like your use of Uncle Sam since I was in the Navy. I didn't do much there except serve. I was stupid when I was enlisted.

Hey man I’m 13 trying to make some money. I am looking at a Ryobi 2000 psi washer which only has 1.2 GPM but many great reviews and I have seen it so a great job. When I start I’m going to reinvest every penny I make until I have enough for a bigger one. This is going to be for car washes, trash bin clean, and driveway wash. Also is there anymore services I could provide? (I’m mowing lawns when grass come back) Edit: Im making a trailer to tow behind my bike to get to my clients not any help from my parents to get me there just me.
Hey Jason, the psi doesn’t matter as much. The more gpm the quicker you will get a job done. I love your hustle and ambition at such a young age. My advice, start with at least 2.5-2.8 gpm then upgrade to a 4gpm machine.
@@erickm7140 I would have to make the change of washer when I get a higher budget because most of the money I have been saving up for this business is going into it at the start so I would have to use the reinvested money. I have a 2700 psi (2.4 GPM) already but my parents are at work so I would have to have one that would fit in my bike trailer
@@ledtoobright2628 Say jason, I know one thing, for sure when you have that money buy a honda engine. Those engine can last for a long time! That's exactly what I'm gonna do. The guy in the video inspires me. Lets do this! 👊🇺🇸🇮🇱 keep your chin up too cause I'm gonna do the same here too!

definitely trying to call my shot. going to pick up a cheap harbor freight trailer this weekend... can't afford a truck at the moment and my car can tow 1500 lbs. :D
Call your shot! This was actually quite motivating! You should consider adding motivational speaker to your repertoire. Your video is exactly what I needed to hear, thank you!
If you think your work is worth $40 an hour you better triple that number to account for all your expenses. Vehicles, equipment, insurance, marketing, travel time, taxes, etc. When it's all said and done skilled labor is often $100 to $200 an hour if you factor everything. It can cost a lot of money to stay in business.

Great video for any industry. Really good pep talk for any person regardless of profession.
Call you shot...So simple so true. Great content!! 👊🏾
Call your shot! Thanks for the video.
i’m 13 and i am just starting but i’ve gotten posted on the neighborhoods page twice already off to a great start
I'm one of those "Waiting for Spring" people. He called me out. lol. Let's hope I get the nerve XD
One day or day one, it’s your choice! Great video and fabulous message! 👍👏😊
DEFINITELY THIS NEW YEAR IM CALLING ALL SHOTS..
CALL YOUR SHOT . I LIVE IN SOUTH FLORIDA PRESSURE CLEANING YEAR ROUND BABY. GET THAT MONEY AND PRAISE THE LORD
Call Your Shot.
I just acquired all my equipment except my soft wash system. I’ve seen so many ways on setting one up I just don’t know which way I should go with. My trailer a 5x8 will be delivered around Jan 5th. Then it’s time to get going.
Man what a simple and motivational video
Call your shot !! Gotta stay HUNGRY!! F@#$ YOUR EXCUSES!! EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM!! Hey Justin, as always, another great video. Looking forward to more content when you get the chance. Hope you guys have a happy New Year and stay safe.
Call your shot!!
I’m a “starting in the spring guy” lol
But it’s not because I’m just waiting for the weather. I’m waiting on equipment to be delivered. Solid info as always. Need more training so I’ll be getting the How To Wash or whatever course I need

One good thing about living in the South.. there is no winter😂 it’s 71° on Christmas Day.
CALL YOUR SHOT BABY!!!
Love this video, and yes you have to just go for it and take a chance, believe in yourself, and hey if you come up short, you will soon fine tune, become more efficient, competent and at the end of the day become better and more confident in running a successful business.
Florida weather be like "what winter" 🤣
I’m gonna call my shot, call your shot!
I struggle with this. I have a lot of wants and ideas, but don’t follow through with them. I need to do more doing instead of just thinking/saying.

Forget window cleaning this is good for all business
I always tell people to "always throw shit against the wall, and see what sticks". Most of my ideas did not stick, a few ideas have been epic.
I've been thinking about starting a little semi truck washing business on the side of the shop I work at on my days off. I have an appointment tomorrow morning to look at a couple different pressure washers that I've been looking at. I'm hoping to have the first truck washed in less than 2 months. I have almost all of my materials and a list of customers. Just waiting on a few clarifications on pressure washers
Terry Cruise example is a great one!
True true bro... I'm moving to a state where pressure washing is a necessity but I'm not wait to get going until after I move... Starting to build my trailer in a storage unit in the frozen north so when the move date comes I can arrive ready to go and unable to use the "I'll start tomorrow" for xyz reason excuse
(I’m mowing lawns when grass come back)
Edit: Im making a trailer to tow behind my bike to get to my clients not any help from my parents to get me there just me.

Say jason, I know one thing, for sure when you have that money buy a honda engine. Those engine can last for a long time! That's exactly what I'm gonna do.
The guy in the video inspires me. Lets do this! 👊🇺🇸🇮🇱 keep your chin up too cause I'm gonna do the same here too!
@@invaderzim1265 Yea Bro👊
You might want to to consider services for the elderly. Raking yards, moving stuff into their homes and setting things up. You might have to ry o. Word of mouth at first, but I know a kid who started this way. Good little business.
I got my washer and some soap today I'm gonna start working Tomorrow morning I ain't waiting for anything or anyone
Call Your Shot 🎯 Thank you for your instruction, education, motivation and inspiration‼ Time 4 me 2 take action‼
you got some point. also, there's many people are like you doing the same job, pressure washer. imagine how many of them. it would be hard to get more customers. you know what I mean.
definitely trying to call my shot. going to pick up a cheap harbor freight trailer this weekend... can't afford a truck at the moment and my car can tow 1500 lbs.
