Like always, your video is super,,👍👍. on 6.30 there is a big gray building on the right side of the road, what is that Mr. Korb?? I love to see on 36.40 when you walked at Rue Victoria since there were many trees beside the road, obviously they were city lungs. In front of the church, south side, across the road, is a small stone wall which represents "The Lachine Massacre" I believe it was 13 or so pilgrims which perished, slaughtered in their sleep.
We were there (but of course) Sunday Late Lunch, Mex place on Lakeshore, very good, parked at the market. My mom tried to get me to go to the nunnery for high school there, ya dream on sister. Dairy Queen has been there forever!
What are your impressions of this neighborhood? Safe? Improving? Too dull? Have you heard of the mega condo project VillaNova and Flora condos, what do you think of them? What a nice coincidence since I was just thinking about Lachine. Thanks for your video!
There are too many condos going up at the moment. Not sure of their names. As for Lachine, I like the area, especially the old town and the parks along the shore.
The corner of St-John's and Hymus has a very future mind boggling population/density/of, idk 4K? just there. Lachine doesn't have the planes, was at Pine Beach Park yest, where my husband and I both grew up (no we did not know one another) and it's still 1 plane after another, they've wrecked the park's shoreline with broken ciment stabs (and No Swimming 🏊 signs! 🤔😊)
