I feel like this mod would be great on a lower ascension level, where ennemies deal less damage and have less hp at the start so they would scale a little slower with corruption
After the tenth "abcyss", I really started to hope this was just one long bit everyone silently agreed upon.

It for sure is. at 0:29 Seconds, the event Future Sight is literally a magic card call Future Sight. Same art.

The event at 30 seconds has one of the artworks for the MTG card "Future Sight" on it.
EDIT: Almost all of the corrupted cards use MTG art, from what I've seen about 13min into the video they seem to be largely from the Strixhaven mystical archive.
Better hope wotc never learns the mod exists
I saw that and immediately started shooting out card names. 2 of the first 3 corrupted cards were doom Blade and whirlwind denial
I haven't played mtg in a year or 2 but the second I saw the cards I immediately remembered them lol

Have you heard of the Pale of the Ancients mod? Its an alternative to the Act four heart fight, where you fight Neow and try to break free of his eternal life and death cycle.
It is VERY hard and you actually need to know what each mini boss does.
There is only one hint i will give, Plan out your route and look at what each mini boss gives you, whatever you take, it is the only one you can take.
I am extremely disappointed in that one chatter that said potion master. It’s potion SELLER, GODDAMNIT! I DID NOT MEMORIZE THAT WHOLE MEME VIDEO TO HAVE IT SLANDERED BY CHATTERS!

@@poir7025 it is chess, but with 400+ pieces, so you can pick and choose which pieces you want on your team, for example, there is the necromancer, who can walk one tile in any direction and upgrade skeletons/transform enemies in skeletons in a L shaped path, like a horse, what I'm trying to say is there, are a lot of pieces, and btw, you lose when your hp drops to 0,and you lose a "x" amount of hp when a piece dies, for example, the king makes you lose 25 hp when he dies and 3 after each turn after his death.

They used the fucking Zerg symbol from StarCraft 2 as the "corruption" symbol

Absolutely loving the modded stuff. It reignited my desire to play StS and now I’ve got 15 characters to play, including the base characters with replay the spire. Thanks for inspiring me to play again Frost/Andrew!

Ah yes, time to wait and see how long it takes until we get some gameplay of the ruina act mod. For the record, it adds 5 acts and with the new beta patches currently being developed... I'm honestly not sure if frost can manage to beat a20 act 5, I mean if corrupt the spire is this hard for him haha. Although for the more vanilla experience... There's always humility which is just suffering but more vanilla adjacent.

could someone make a D&D mod? making all the classes into playable "characters" and the cards being in some form of relation to the skills you would get in each class, archtype of every class, ect.

This mod is using very well known artist art from a very well known Trading Card Game Company. Aaaand I'm not sure just how legal this is.
I played it once , deck was so broken , it did 2000 different cool things , too bad a couple of them were just winning every fight for free..

One relic idea: Every Relic is Maw Bank, but you replace your starting relic with Courier.

There's a relic in this mod that gives you the attack bonus from corruption similar to enemies. I dunno how rare it is but u stumbled upon it one day
