Yes and no. It can help in a lot but not all cases, and talking therapy is usually recommended in combination with exercise (/healthier lifestyle and diet if applicable) but the endorphins from exercise are more of a short-term fix, and some people can find that they end up addicted to exercise, needing to keep getting his of those endorphins to cope. I've seen family suffer with this, we need balance in all things, running alone can't fix everything, but then neither can just a healthy diet, or just therapy.. And in some cases medication is the only fix, because if you've got a chemical imbalance everything else is just papering over the cracks, not fixing the real problem
