I lived in SJ for a few years and followed the Spartans through year after rough year. If any team deserves this success, it is SJSU.
Being a biased Utah State fan, I will tell y'all what I saw. This was an uncharacteristically sloppy BSU team and an awesomely fine tuned San Jose team. The SJSU qb is a dime dropper and the defense cracks. So good to see. Well played

Man, just out of NOWHERE, and these kids are playing on another level. Boise St is no slouch, and they have been very good for at least the last decade or more. Awesome season, hope they can keep the momentum going

I'm so happy to see that we finally beat Boise State. I couldn't do it in double overtime (2004), or my senior year game tied (2006). They kicked the freaking field goal to win it. Lol. They were at Juggernaut in the WAC, and got all the top talent. Congratulations coach Brandon and the Spartans for finally winning the championship and bucking those broncos!
To the bronco players and fans, I always loved playing you guys and you're always a challenge. I looked up to you guys and wish I was as good as you when I was playing.

Going into this game a lot of us in Boise we’re actually concerned because the Spartans offense is insane. And Boise state was sloppy all year. Not surprised one bit at how this game turned out and have absolutely no problem with sjsu getting this win! Good to see them turn it around!!!

Can anyone find the stats for the defensive pressure the Spartans brought?
They showed a graphic near the end of the game the was mind blowing like 11 knockdowns and 14 rushed passes. Was wanting to see the final outcome.
the donkeys only had 3 yards rushing on the day, so that stat is pretty easy to see.
I went to a San Jose State game back in 2012 with free tickets and they got annihilated. They've come a long way since then.

I’ve been saying for years that SJSU has no excuse for having a losing program. If Fresno can put together squads, SJ should be owning their division. Good stuff.
Sometimes it’s more about the continuity of culture and not so much about talent. Look at the big ten for example. Rutgers is located right at New Jersey and New York, Maryland is right at the DMV. Both massive recruiting hotness. Yet both are doormats year over year. Then look at programs like Wisconsin and Iowa in the same conference. It’s rare to see more than one four star in a cycle from the entire state, yet both programs are perennially in the top 15. Iowa has been a powerhouse for decades and it’s transitioned year over year due to culture and coaching stability. Wisconsin formed an identity more recently in the early 2000s, but built it off the toughness they had in the 60s and 70s when they were routinely winning national titles. Programs like San Jose State, Maryland, and Rutgers do not have this foundation to build off of. Perhaps this conference title can form the culture the program needs to establish itself.

I'm a fan of neither team, but man That Quarterback for SJSU is amazing, he is prob just as good or maybe better than Mac Jones or Zach Wilson, I hope he goes Pro when he is ready.

Their problem was Boise State bailed on the run early many lost opportunities especially on 3rd down should of controlled the pace more with some balance.
They averaged .5 yards per carry. They had to abandon it.

Harsin is an awful coach and bachmeir is a bad QB. Jack sears should have been starting all season. Meanwhile Harsin needs to be fired. Great win for SJSU. They fought like hell and their QB is a baller. BSU is fading into nothingness until they get rid of Harsin.

Only proven winners like Clemson and Ohio State should take wins as real wins. This season is a farce.
