We are getting a card show next thursday here in denmark :D I cannot wait to see how it goes. This video helped me to see what to expect when going to such an event. They have lots of names coming too and venders
The prices they had on some of those vintage slabs are wild. I spied quite a few at double market price. I know they have to leave room to haggle, but when you have to haggle to get to ebay prices it's a bit too much. And I would expect to pay at least slightly less than ebay prices if the seller is saving on shipping and fees.
Oh same, I always check comps when buying slabs. I feel like a large amount of sellers rely on the general public not checking they're getting good value for money. There's a good few eggs out there thay openly state they'll do less than ebay comps

Cool. How long has that been running, and how much was it to enter? Things like this infuriate me, as there used to be a smaller, but Free Entry, London Card Mart every other month or so back in the late 90's/early 2000's, held at the Camden Town Hall opposite St. Pancras Station. It was kind of run in conjunction with the London Comic Mart (held at the Royal National Hotel and is still going strong today) until the Sports Card market crash of 2002/2003 when Sports and Trading Card dealers were losing money, and it was closed down and amalgamated into the Comic Mart. Everyone I speak to who remembers the old London Card Mart has fond memories of it, even though at that time, online price guides were almost non-existent, looking up card prices on your phone was unheard of, and we all knew we were paying over the odds for stuff, it was just a great community and guys from all over the country would meet up there every month or so to catch up, chat and trade.

PSA, all the cheapest options. Mostly TCG, some sport and two dual autos. I'd hope for everything but the dual autos back in 3-4 months
