- The Suzuki Swift Sport goes against the Renaultsport Twingo to see which is the best Hot Hatch to buy. The first challenge is a handling test around cones in the quickest time.

Had a RS Twingo for 3 years I still in love with it, but it must be said build quality is not the best
stupid test, the twingo is 28cm shorter than swift sport...

as fan as suzuki motocycle and their legendary solidity, and, as a french and know lots of issue with renaults post 2000's cars , suzuki all the way !

I had the rs when I was younger and I still think it's one of the finest cars to drive on mountain roads, the only issue is that amg and m car drivers always tried to race me. Still one of the most fun cars ever. Would recommend
they were not racing you , they were faster and you were in their way

Top gear was better
I never liked TG,too much talking and nothing said. Fifth gear is more interesting and educating for me. And we have Tiff and Jason,two professional drivers with a lot of experience. When the two of them join together it can be real fun...

nah you are the fucked up and dead in an crash and you cant use that in winter. also not in the alpines here.
I use mine in winter over here in England, and I've crashed a few times and been sound and a pound.

£350 for new cam sensors.
£280 new alternator
Value: About £3k more than I paid for it.
+Lewis72 You have been incredibly lucky then. The BMW will be fun, but also as it looks like it is worth more and so you are more susceptible to vandals. I would much prefer the Twingo.

I have the 1.5 glx suzuki swift and it is an awesome car
I myself own a swift Dzire, I love it's aerodynamics, cutting edges,handeling and the stability is really good.
believe me I can do much better than these both by only looking in rear view mirrors and not by looking behind.

Vote for swift. I have the swift 2007 jdm version which is 91HP. I have been driving it since 2010. More than 10 years.

Indian variant of the swift gets only 80hp😑😑
And they have an "RS" version which is based on an even underpowered Diesel. Which has painted wheel covers and bumpers. And it's not even based on the top end trim.

I don't see how these are hot hatches by any means. 130bhp and a near 9 second 0-60 is not hot. Granted they're fun little cars, the Twingo especially; but they're by no means hot at all. More like warm skateboards.

to raczej test umiejetnosci kierowcow bo obydwoje raczej nietrenowali zbyt dlugo manewru cofania autem w salalomie na czas ,karkołomna próba niewykazujaca praktycznie niczego ,bezsensu ,poza tym który kierowca akurat za 1 podejściem dał rade zrobić to szybciej .

Yeah, but I've never seen VW call that Golf a sport version or anything. When a brand comes with something they clame to be a hot hatch I spect at least something close to a DS3 or the Renault Sandero R.S. really don't think the Swift do it well.

Neither are a "hot" hatch. I bet a 20 year old civic hatch would beat them both, and only cost a few thousand.
EG hatches go for a few thousand around here, but they have motor swaps and suspension. You can get a pretty clean stock civic hatch for around $1500 in my area.
