Roads in Tasmania (121) Jan2024 - Day Trip - Bridestowe Lavender Estate- Bridport- Purple Ice Cream

We head off again today to explore more of the amazing region around Scottsdale. It’s a magnificent day and just perfect for a stroll through the lavender farm. We are lucky enough to witness the lavender being harvested and it really comes to life when you see what they do with the flowers, the oil and the waste products from the plants. Well worth a trip if you are in the area. Not to mention the selection of yummy treats that await in the cafe.
We then take a side step, as we were heading back to the van, to take in Bridport. This is a lovely town and we plan to come back to explore here further. The beachfront is well planned and is, mostly, available to everyone.
Another wonderful day in the north eastern corner of Tasmania. The Apple Isle keeps showing us these pearls of beauty.
So, pull out your lavender scented soap of candles and karmonajourney to the lavender farm and beyond.
Oh, and apologies for Monique’s in-car filming… enough said. Ha ha ha!
