I have friends who ask me for exact measurements and I tell them I have no idea because it’s in my memory after I’ve cooked it a few times, lol. Or I just cook and put what feels right. I learned from my granny, who rarely measured, and I do the same. They do not get it, at all.

Momma Cherri, I loved that you told the young lady, wash your hands and put your hair up. I see so many cooks and chef have no problem not washing their hands and touching their hair, not in my kitchen.

I used to work at Montgomery Wards in Chicago years ago and they had the BEST apple cobbler in their cafeteria. It was to die for!!!! Your peach cobbler looked scrumptious, but unfortunately I never liked peaches and also I am allergic to them and cannot eat them, it's too bad though. Truly I will be watching your videos. This is it!!! My grandmother always made this. I was 6-7 years old the last time she made it for me. I'm now 66, so you can imagine how long I have searched for a recipe. Nothing I could find was even close. I happened across this video, saw the title and when I saw you, I just KNEW this was what I have been looking for! I can't wait to make it!! I like how you didn't completely mix the dough. The little patches of flour leaves such a nice unique texture. Completely mixing the dough makes it feel too manufactured, like the dough you'd find in super markets.
