Just a couple weeks ago when the chiefs lost to the raiders, I saw multiple media outlets talking about how Kelce is distracted and not focused on football. All of this attention brings about pressure on Kelce. You gotta be blind to not see that.

Anyone who thinks Taylor Swift is a distraction is foolish! These are professional football players that go out and do their jobs day in and day out. KC still won their division. They still won 11 games despite their offensive troubles this year. Which btw has more to do with coaching and Mahomes off his timing due to lack luster performance by his offensive line. Mahomes had a worse year than Kelce IMO. The other receivers had a worse year than Kelce too. So stop with this Taylor Swift distraction it just doesn't pass the real smell test!

Travis Kelce is 2nd all time in Playoff Receiving yards, receptions, and Receiving Touchdowns only behind Jerry Rice, has nothing left to prove. His list is spot on! Yeah Kelce is a HoF player and he’s been great for most his career. But he’s dropped a lot of passes this year. I think it’s reasonable to say he needs to deliver. He can’t do anything about being double or triple covered but he’s dropped a lot of passes that were right in his hands.

With 2 MVPs as well, that’s a crazy start to a career. Brady went 10 years without a Super Bowl after his first 3, so that would potentially give Mahomes a nice shot at catching or atleast getting in the ball park of Brady’s rings.

CMac I kinda get just because a ring would increase his Hall of Fame potential & because he got out of the wasteland that is the Panthers to a goldmine in the 49ers, with that said I feel like skill players being on this list is a bit much. Only reasons I would understand Kelce is because he’s older & Chiefs could officially become a dynasty, I think Jeff is right though that Jalen Hurts should be at #5. Jalen is the leader of that team, Sirianni could get fired & not only that. Hurts got a big payday & although he’s hurt, he hasn’t really looked great most of the season. Show up in the playoffs or things could shake up faster than they expected

Second loss: put up 500+ yards of offense and his receivers had 7 or 8 drops (had 2 picks..1 was blatantly his fault and another was off a receivers hands)
3rd loss: literally only played a half because he got injured from trying to field one of the SIX errant snaps from his center..
Do I agree he has to deliver? YES.. but I hate when media heads talk about 1-3 and provide literally no context.

I agree that Lamar is under pressure to win a chip but you have to provide context with the 1-3 record. One loss came when he was a rookie and played in half of the season games, another his mediocre(at best) receivers dropped pass after pass and he still accounted for 500 yards of offense by himself, and the third lost he got injured
