Save your self some large expensive .Do your first. Parade on your vehicle first thing in the morning oil water and tyres and warm the motor before you start to drive off or you’ll be up for more expense. I tried to warn you before but fell on deaf ears. Cheers and good luck.
@@user-ds5ce2bu9j can you translate that into English for me?
Heya! I've been looking for reviews on this bottle, trying to decide if I want one.
Does it leak at all? Since the straw mouthpiece just seems to tuck down but isn't sealed or anything I wasn't sure.
Cheers :)
I’ve only had it a couple of weeks but I’ve used it daily and it hasn’t leaked yet
I wish the National Trust would let people park in their car parks overnight, especially if you're a member. So frustrating, such a waste.
I just use them, if I get a knock I just ignore it, though this has only happened once, happy camping
@@andrewfox7861 Good to know.
@andrewfox7861 do you not get fined if you are caught using them overnight?
I used to be a member and a year or two they ran a trial of overnight stays in their car parks like aira falls Cumbria.
You got free parking then a tenner a night.
I got talking to the warden one time and he said it brought in much needed revenue and 99.9% there where no issues with van overnighters, only the odd chav boy racers leaving takeaway rubbish.
He said they where stopping the scheme and he thought it was madness to stop.
I then left the NT...... Especially when I found out how much their ceo and the like where earning 🤢.
The NT is not run for the people it's a charity for big wigs.
they are a bit greedy with their land ! not sharing !
A sparkies van, nice, it will be full of 50 pound notes and butt plugs though, happy diy dude🍺
😂
Whenever you take a vehicle into a garage for repairs you should always jot down the mileage, then you can see if they just repaired and left it outside for you to do the test (breakdown) drive also tell if they’ve driven it around all week picking up parts
I was going to say take a picture then it’s date stamped
Morning Shaun. The new van looks pretty impressive mate. There’s probably no camping down there because north cliffs is renowned for a bit off a dogging spot so be careful where you park up there mate. 😊
Where’s that? Asking for a friend…
@@TerryTrackerChannel asking for a friend? 😂😂 it’s north cliffs between Gwithian and porthtowan. Enjoy 😂😂
Ok I was asking for me… so I can AVOID that carpark when I come down to Cornwall in my van to visit Shaun of course…………………. Honest
@@TerryTrackerChannel I believe you 😂😂
its mental that the Ford is that unreliable you've had to buy another back up van to keep the content moving. Bet you love being back in a smaller van again, way more practical for everyday use . really enjoyed the vid 👌
Couldn’t agree more.
Ford = fix or repair daily and found on road dead😂
It's not "mental" - they are famed for it 😂
I have owned a few Fords in my life. Without exception, the worst vehicles in terms of reliability. The Transit is notorious for dying an early death.
You need to insure your camera gear
Looking forward to the new van build.
could probably 3d print the missing piece for u just need measurements etc no hassle xx maybe take an impression using polymer clay then scan it to us either way xx
I have a vivaro 2900 lwb 2.0tdi on a 2013 plate that's been converted to a campervan, shes a solid bus good on diesel, done 25k in her so far and never let me down
Can’t wait to see this build
I hope the new van works out for what you need it for. It looks nice I think.
Sorry about the camera lens. Hope it still works okay.
It makes me nervous when you go out into the woods in the dark. But that is my issue, not yours.
I hope you have fun on your family camping trip. That should be great fun. Everyone will love seeing Charlie.
Love the park ups you find!
Thanks for showing your non alcoholic beers and ciders as I have been always on the lookout for more non alcoholic beers. Happy to see more are being made and improved. I had to stop drinking two years ago and I really miss good beers especially IPAs. So I appreciate others talking about them regularly and promoting staying sober especially living in a vehicle. I hope to live in a camper van or RV someday. Might have to live in my car the way rents are going.
The time comes to cut your losses it's a bitter pill to swallow had a few vans like this a merc sprinter springs to mind in my experience a high mileage van is better than a low mileage it proves it reliable
My mate had the same message and broke down. Done his cam chain. Ford really need to step their game up
I’ve just bought a vivaro and the inspiration of watching your videos , and had it converted .. maybe the next one I’ll give it a go to DIY. 👍👏
Tehidy has another reputation of the ...er adult entertainment type!! Love the old Bedford RL truck at the end, I passed my HGV 3 in one of those in the army. New van looks ace buddy. 👍
The start to my sunday Is always better with a love sundays video...
New van looks nice did it cost alot?
Hope you and the family have a fun holiday ❤
When you said Tehidy got busy at night I thought you'd accidentally camped in the local dogging spot. 🤣
Haha, that's what I thought too. Why are you wandering around in the woods with a torch at a dogging site? 🤣🤣
Imagine my excitement when 9 o’clock rolled round and a new Love Sundays video dropped only to realise I’m a Patreon and have already seen it…
Hey up youth! Lovely looking van, really nice tidy thing. I think I'd miss the height of the Transit but the trade off is ... the history is incredible! Can't wait to see the build. Sad your camera bust :(
I’ve bought a little Mercedes Vito, it’s been partially converted, so I’m going to finish that and get camping… maybe Cornwall?
I think it’s just by chance with any vehicle , mines done 175k service every year since 2012, never had a problem
Just a thought. A while back you aired your thoughts on the campervan card carrying idea, which I thought was great. ....
Looking at the hassle you have with finding parkups sometimes, or finding great places that are "No Camping" areas... I wonder if there's a market for getting people with land who were willing for one or two night stopovers to join some sort of database so you could find places where you knew you were good to go...
Like park 4 night but where landowners have consent in their own terms as to how long you stayed etc.... just a thought...
I don't own a van sadly. Can you tell 😂
Now Im sure Crafter is the way to go
I feel your pain! The wind blew my Sony over on a beach in Scotland 🙈 had to send my GM 16-35 to Sony as my local camera shop said only Sony had the right parts. It was a pretty smooth process sending off to Sony UK and the repair cost was very reasonable.
I've got the same vivaro mines a 2012 had it almost 5 years. Brilliant vans.
Great to see your video! We’ve missed you! New van is very nice! Hope your family trip is fun and uneventful! Cheers!
ha ha ha that might be stealth camping ... in Vietnam in the jolly green giant there 🤣
Beautiful sunset. Thanks for sharing.🍻
Hope you had a great holiday Sean 👍 looking forward to seeing the vivaro project 🤙
Like the new van it looks fantastic.
Great to see you back sell the transit you will get a great price spend the money on vivaro can you really trust the transit again
I would cut my losses with the transit, although by the sounds of it you have finally found the main issue everyone was saying it would be the fuse.
Love the truck that parked next to you. What a beast !
Oooh within the first minute! YEAH! 🙌🏼♥️ It’s 4am here in the states!
Another great video! Hope that is the end of the issues with the ford. The new van looks great. Those water bottles look great with the straw and opening ordered 3 for our kids thanks for the diacount code!
With those tool units there id just add doors and be done after insulating. 😮 great van.❤
Get the cam chain done! On the vivaro. Check injectors.
Great update video Shaun, bad luck with the lense, but hey these things happen. That looks like a great van for your project and looks the part also. I’ve just picked up my 31 year old Renault 19 left hand drive, one Parisian lady owner from new with only 31000 miles on the clock, not a camper but really looking forward to getting the car how I want it 😀😀
Watched this one on my iPad and I had a finger smudge on the screen. When you was walking in the woods it looked like a ghostly figure in front of you in the torchlight. Good video Shaun, enjoy the Lizard. Cheers
Fair play, that torch is decent 😎
Really excited to see what you do with the new van. Great video and loving the channel 🤜🤛
Hi Shaun.
The new van looks lovely. Can't wait to see what you do to it.
We have a 70 reg Talento lwb, newer model but the same clone as a pre Stallentis Vivaro. We have got a wider 120 cm rib bed in it, much better than a rock n roll bed, with better access to storage beneath and behind the bed. In day mode with the rear bed leaf in horizontal position, there is a clean storage area above the bed leaf and a dirty storage area underneath, on the floor. The van takes the extra width bed well and has good cupboard width as well at the same time.
Nice skid 👍🏼
Love it when you throw caution to the wind and go to scary places!! 😂
Great video Shaun loved it very laid back and easy going that van of yours ggggrrrrr hopfully its all sorted now. I thought you had parked in a dogging woods and was taking a walk hhhmmm 😂 if you go down in the woods at night you never know what you will see 😂🤣 have a great time with the family see you on the next one. Cheers 🫶🙏👍
PS I've done quite a few investigations in those woods mate it is haunted without a doubt
Good day Shaun, Sorry to see you broke a great lens. Poop happens!! You’re a great mate, think of it being a story you can tell.
Mate, you’ll love your new van so much, you’ll bin off that big Old Ford. Shame for you after all the efforts you’ve put into the high top. Best of luck with it
Great video. Love Tehidy, was there on Tuesday but never by night! Hope you had a great family holiday
Sean at 8:21 it looks like its just the lens hood witch is quite easily replaceable online if you search up the lens or it may even have a code on the hood so you can get the correct one.
This lens is the Sony 12-24mm G Master f/2.8 which has a fixed hood that can’t be replaced sadly.
@@LoveSundays Thats such a shame in my eyes lens hoods are there to protect the glass so it should have been able to be replaced. Fortunately it seems to have saved most of the lens from being completely cracked this time.
Looking forward to seeing what the new Viv looks like once done
Exciting times ahead !! Almost finished my trafic conversion so thinking about buying another van, when your doing it it's a pain at times, but then when it's done you miss doing it😂
Liking the new van Shaun. Hope the ford behaves it self now. Thank you for sharing with us. Cheeers Maxx
Another great video, keep them coming...Also a query regarding Danny as I love my volvo's and might be in the market for a V60, if he has website etc...Cheers
Cool little vid....Healeys are good but it's getting very expensive to visit their centre!
That was a packed episode. Enjoyed it. Thanks. Darryl
Woohoo, another van conversion - looking forward to watching this 😀
Is the whole lens buggered or just the hood? Might be a replaceable part!
Looking forward to the conversion. I personally wouldnt touch anything outside of a VW or Mercedes though.
When I had my VW T5 I spent over £4000 repairing it they’re no better to be fair
@@LoveSundays Wow. Have my VW Crafter LWB for 4 years now and only had service and brakes done. Bought it with 170k on the clock.
great video shaun ! glad you didnt bump into the blair witch!i am i enjoying your no alco beverages , they taste better than i thought 😊thankyou
Thanks for the discount code ❤ just ordered one. Keep up the good work.
Enjoy
I'd avoid parking up overnight at Bassett Cove. It's not just a local urban legend that it's a dogging hot-spot. We found out one night when searching for a park up.
Funny looking back on it, but pretty awkward experience at the time (especially when i tried to dip the already dipped headlights and ended up flashing the crowd before making a quick exit!)
Great vid mate.
😂
Another great video mate, if you have the broken piece you could super glue back on ❤
Just make sure you take the nic eic stickers off it mate as they can fine you. Just a hint as you don’t need anymore expense 👍🏻👍🏻
Mate, I have a 2014 transit. I have had a few issues too. My main one is the air filter getting wet 🤦🏻♂️🫤
The electrics are a nightmare in them man 😖
I’m sure it’s only the lens hood that’s broken mate .
FORD stands for Fix Or Repair Daily
FIAT = fix it again tomorrow 🤣🤣
Always heard FORD = Found On Road Dead. Never owned one so no personal experience, just saying.
Great vlog again glad to see the new van and can’t with for the build process again. Also are you gonna document the trip to the lizard as love kynance cove
You missed a perfect opportunity to put a jump scare clip in at 21 minutes 😂, great video, I’m so pissed for you with your transit, problem after problem, 🤞🏻hope your good for a couple years now
Exciting 🎉
I park drown Basset Cove 5 Time one night everybody got kicked out by the national trust and it was 11:00 p.m. just your luck love the new van
Surely that’s just the lens hood , they twist off, also you really should fit a uv filter to the front of the lens that way only the filter gets damaged not the lens,
The 12-24 g master does not have a removable hood it’s fixed. But it’s the scratches on the glass I’m worried about
@@LoveSundays oh ok! Didn’t know the Sony g master was fixed! Us poor folk can’t only afford the sigma lenses for our Sony lol! Hope you get it sorted, maybe covered on your home contents policy!
Out of curiosity is it more expensive to insure a van and also what kind of tax would I look at for something like the vivaro? I’m looking at a doing a van build but a day van as I mtb need room for bikes and with enough space to make a cuppa tea lol
Brilliant video once again Shaun mine ain’t nothing compared to yours pal
Electric windows and alloy wheels, two things I've Always avoided, same electronics though?
Re the lens, does hood not just come off? Also make sure you put a filter on the end. That way any scratches are on the filter and not the lens.
The 12-24 g master f/2.8 has a fixed hood that can’t be removed it also doesn’t have a filter thread because of the dome of the lens. ND filters are added via the back of the lens
It's mental the NT dont allow overnighting in their carparks. Most people carry out more rubbish than they make. And it prevents fly tipping too.
I just brought 2 of them bottles with your code 😊
Legend
It's nice to see you've been round or neck of the woods mate I see you like rattler. Did you know that they do a pineapple cider very nice indeed
its just the lense hood pal, you should be able to screw it off and replace
On this particular lens the hood is a part of the lens. Google Sony 12-24 f/2.8 g master and you’ll see what I mean. Do people honestly think after 25 years of photography I don’t know what a lens hood is 😂
Hey Shawn my wife and I live your channel can’t wait to see the Vivaro conversion I just swapped my T4 for an ex BT vivaro for work. Would you have the link for your TORCH PLEASE ? I can’t find the video where you already linked it.
amzn.to/3UBNFDu
I bought my transit custom to covert in September and my engine service keeps coming on, everytime i take it in, it lasts a month, and then the same engine service comes on, and back in it goes
What torch is that ?
Does that lens hood not screw off? If not you could plastic weld the bit that fell off back on
The lens hood isn’t interchangeable on the 12-24 f/2.8 g master. But it’s the scratches on the glass that I’m annoyed about not the broken plastic
Did I see my old school Camborne Girls Grammar opposite from the railway station by any chance ?
Hmm, the fuse casing melted ? The fuse should have blown before anything like that could have happened.
Glad to see you are back on the road. Hope you have a great family break. Hope to see another adventure soon 😊 Ps come to Devon for a meet up?!
Thanks
Thank you
What was the £600 for ? Glad you got a vivaro - great van just drove ours into the scrap yard as retired and was over 220,000 on the clock
They replaced the fuel pump
Would it be better to keep the vauxall and get rid of the ford if its a better car?
Was you at Haven Perran Sands? Was there last week and could have sworn I saw your van there
I was at Park Dean Lizard Pojt last week not Perran sands. Must’ve been someone else’s money pit 😂
Mate, just buy the outer part of the lens and spend an hour with a brew and some small screwdrivers and swap it out
The lens hood isn’t interchangeable on the 12-24 f/2.8 g master. But it’s the scratches on the glass that I’m annoyed about not the broken plastic
@LoveSundays I've rebuilt a canny few sony lenses and if you shop about, you might find the glass for sale. They are easy to work on too. As for the scratches, they will only be a bother when you stop down the aperture or if the lighting conditions are harsh and cause some lens flare.
You are like me mate - you have no luck at all
Glad you have stopped playing with those fools in the ford motor company and come back to the Vivaro fold…..I found your channel a couple of years ago when I got my Viv searching on YT for Vivaro van conversions!
You should have edited in a jump scare into the footage in the woods! 😂
Not heard you swear in any videos then lots of swearing in just one video 😂😂😂 hilarious. Love your videos.
Yea it was a bad couple of weeks 😂 but was nice and relaxing in the end
Isn't it just the plastic shroud around the lense that's damaged and the lense itself doesn't look cracked or damaged. Just glue the plastic back on. The plastic shroud is there to protect the lense surely.
The lens is scratch quite badly. But it doesn’t seem to affect the picture
@@LoveSundays ah that's not too bad then, that it's still functional and could have been much worse.
There is hood replacement.
