    Thanks for sharing..such a great study piece. I'm blown away but his use of legato to create emotion. All the fills feel are so tasteful and substantive. No superfluous notes distracting from the feeling.

      +Digital_Cratez Glad it wasn't just me that noticed this. I feel like this proves my Spiritual Key theory.

      @joaomenegalebarbi1586 8 ปีที่แล้ว +31

      +Digital_Cratez Actually, this is kind of the easiest key to a bass or guitar player. Pretty straight forward.

    • @STOPPEDINCOLORADO
      @STOPPEDINCOLORADO 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      João MenegaleBarbi You mean because of standard tuning and the fact that you could just hit any open string and it'll work? Or is it something else?

    • @digital_cratez9116
      @digital_cratez9116 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      João MenegaleBarbi good call. thanks

    • @joaomenegalebarbi1586
      @joaomenegalebarbi1586 8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      machinimamarlon Well, I don't know for sure, but I'll tell you what I think it is. First, yes, the open strings. In bass or guitar, ANY open string with standard tuning is inside the E minor pentatonic scale. Second, the fact that the low E is the lowest you can go. For a bass player, that counts a lot. If the song is in D or D minor, usually you drop the tuning so you can have a low D. Also, there is a lot of riffs that require open strings, especially the E. But is you use E major, you can't hit neither the D string nor the G. I think is something like that

      The power of MAXIMUM SWAG!!!!!
      It's not the outside clothes that makes the swag, but what's inside of you. That's the secret. That's where the swag is at.
      Since he has swagnificence on the inside, he doesn't have to fit his clothes. His clothes.......fit him.

      @skiphoffenflaven8004 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Slapping is neat, but it tends to make the bassist sound templated and cliche. Ever since the mid-90s, I have moved away from listening to music that is characterized by a bass-slapper.
