Sadly the greens have banned all combustion cars from European roads from 2030 on in Germany they even reduced gas stations to only one per city from 2025 on now they ar trying to forbid trade with used combustion cars and classics :-(
My brother died this week. He'd spent his whole life with schizophrenia. only outside of being insane he'd had one dream. he'd spent all his government money like sickness money on building a Cobra kit car. V8 engine the works. Just got it finished as well after 20 years. Now he's dead. Life's cruel
Sorry to hear that James. At least he put that money back into the community and built something awesome while he was here. That's a lot more than most people do in a whole lifetime without any mental ilnesses.
I find it interesting how many videos there are of people drag racing AC Cobra's considering Carroll Shelby originally built for Le Mans style racing rather than straight line pedal to the metal sanctioned and no prep drag racing.
He never would have put the 427 in it if his lawyer buddies Ferrari hadn't have smoked him on the street. He got pissed, and threw in the biggest motor he could find. Hence the 427 cobra was born. I'm glad that race happened, otherwise the originals would have all been 289s....
I was watching that one guys boot real close the the Mustangs tire while he was doing the burnout hoping the car didn't shift sideways and rip his foot off.
Don't see any point in trying to hold the car straight in a burnout, John force would of gotten out of the car and asked what the. Fuck they were doing
I think this is a more definitive start than the running backwards and turning on a flashlight thing seen in a lot of the 1320 videos. But I do understand the flashlight since most street races are at night. Just not the running backwards part...
