Thank you for sharing this rare interview of one of my favorite authors. Started reading his books as a pre-teen 50 years ago and am still re-reading them today. I shared an email conversation with him years before he passed when I commanded a ship in the military. His reply was very eloquent and cordial, not one of those stark, pre-formatted things that some people use.
