Was fortunate enough to be given one by a neighbor in pretty good shape. Top lnk was broken also so I retrieved it using my regular top link. Questioned if the Spring that you referenced as not installed, was neccessary. Going to use around pond rather than Baking up and forward and bushog ending up soaked. May use to cut tall grass that interferes with my clover plots without unnecessarily scattering the seeds, especially the curly dock I have been "Blessed with. especially before the seed become mature and expand that cursed plant all over.Good Video and I have subscribed.

Only thing is, is that it seems real tight or almost frozen to move sickle bar by hand. Have any ideas how to free it up? Before I hook it to tractor?
Check all the sickle bar guides and knives , if any are loose they will cause binding. You can unhook the bar and take it out if you need to repair it. Good day! My stabilizer bar itself is quite a bit shorter than yours...and lands right about where the draft link hooks to the lift arm. Ever hear of that? Guess I could fab a longer stabilizer.
It can be fastened and inch or 2 each way depending on how high or low you want the sickle bar to raise when the tractor lift raises.
