    The cleaning ingredient that cleans "cuts thru grease" is sodium carbonate (not bicarbonate) aka washing soda. You can buy it in bulk, it's not expensive, and you just add 2 tbsp to your water, with a small squirt of dawn blue dishwash liquid.

    DO NOT USE LAUNDRY DETERGENT ON FLOORS unless you are going to completely rinse your flooring afterward. Laundry detergent is meant to be used in a much larger quantity of water and and rinsed off of clothing. It will leave a film on your floor and can ruin it.

    What would you use on shiny floor tiles, that one dry there isn't any streaks etc

    • @MA-mh1vs
      @MA-mh1vs 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used to work at a convenience store with those shiny tiles and we were told to only use the blue concentrate that was also what we used in the windshield washer buckets by the pumps. So I would recommend picking up a cheap jug of the blue windshield washer fluid, probably the summer version because I am not sure what they add to make the winter versions not freeze so easy. If it is just a type of alcohol it should be fine though.

    I recently got one, and hate it. My first issue is with the mop. IDK if I just got a defective one, but when I extend the shaft, it won't lock. This results in it collapsing as I'm mopping the floor. My second issue is with the spinning wringer. It doesn't wring out the water very well. The mop is way too wet when I use it and leaves water spots all over the place. Worst mop and wringer I have ever owned.

      My laminate is waterproof. Most laminates are not. You don't want to soak them. Damp mop is better. Linoleum can handle the water.
