They have most of my songs. 💀 Edit: I'ma name the songs he owns in the songs I play. Moonlight Tango, Dragonhunter, and Sahara Crossing. There will be more.
I remember playing this piece in my 2004 orchestra recital (fall). I was in the seventh grade and I still enjoy listening to this piece as an adult, I was also first chair viola
Nice to see another Violist in the comments! I played this one in my seventh grade orchestra class as well and even though it's a simple song, it still sounds great. I ended up adapting the First Violin part because I liked it so darn much. (sounds better on Viola, I must add)
I played the violin for 8 years. This is one of the songs I played ALL the damn time in middle school. I adored it. It's one of my all-time favorite violin pieces. It always will stick with me.
This was the first song I played, ever. I was in 8th grade a second violin. And now I’m a freshman in highschool playing first violin Christmas quatrain and ghost carnival first too! (If you haven’t heard them you should look them up they’re really cool!)
I'm currently in middle school and this is one of the peices we have to play for our next concert, I love being a 3rd violin because we hold the melody throughout most the song :)
Sameeee! This was the first song I played when I first got my violin last year, I was a second violin. Now I’m a first violin as a freshman in highschool playing EXTREMELY difficult songs. But me and my friends agreed to make this our senior request song. This song was amazing
I played this at the beginning of middle school, (I started in 6th grade and not fifth because there was no choice to, and everyone also started in 6th grade) and ever since I played it, it has been my mothers' favorite piece. So every time I practice at home, i have to play this song for her.
When I was 10 I played the violin in a beginners orchestra. This is the only piece I remember the name of. Even though I stopped playing the violin when I turned 11 and haven’t touched one in the 21 years since, I still love this piece!
That’s amazing! I’m in seventh and me and my orchestra played this for our Christmas concert. Last year in sixth grade our teacher told the seventh graders that we were doing better than them😂
Now the Mayer’s music perform in iraq. I’m conducting the Sulimanyha fine arts institute orchestra in Sulaymaniyah city, Kurdistan Region of iraq. And looking forward to perform this music at our fall concert with my students!
For the orchestra I played most Richard Meyer songs like Sahara crossing, night shift, and miraj and I actually had to play the tambourine for this song
We had to play it 8 times because history or something was learning about Africa and sense the song is about the Sahara dessert it fitted (My hand is in pain now)
The tambourine completely tops this song off. My part, the cello part is very enjoyable and simple edit: ewwww why did i talk like that thinking i was all cool and mysterious😭😭 water on mars better ngl
nah bruh richard meyer making all the middle school pieces
Night shift, Sahara, kabuki carry it all 💯
