To everyone who's studying with this music:
    Checklist:
    • A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate
    • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time
    • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone
    • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.
    • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.
•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy
Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book.
I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight
DISCLAMER: I did not create this, I found it on other playlists. I still wanna help people out and get them through any stress (:

Since I was little I always loved the ancient egypt. But, as I learned more, I love the fantasy of ancient egypt, the actual one was quite messed up. Still, it's mysterious and beautiful in a way.

    • @Limabean1125
      @Limabean1125 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

The real one had some downsides, yes. But, it was the best ancient empire to live in at that time in that area. It was said that gold was as plentiful as dirt and many people immigrated to pharaonic Egypt, so it couldn’t have been that bad.

    • @johnnyrocket1685

I feel the same way about the Bible, honestly. I was raised to look down religion, but I still was surrounded by religious people in my community. I had this very imaginative fantasy about what the Bible could possibly hold.
Over the years, I spent a lot of time trying to find ways to justify my hate for it, but I came to realize I was basing my hate of the hate of others that was imprinted on me.
I’ve read the entire Bible front to back with the New International version, and I’m starting the journey all over again with the Geneva Bible this time. The differences just in genesis alone are astounding. Very different wording and it’s almost a different story and message entirely between the two versions.
      .
However, the reality of what the Bible is and the reality of how things really were and how they likely played out, and all the research I’ve done and all the archaeological and historical shows and docuseries I’ve watched about Christianity and Judaism and the Bible have really destroyed that fantasy I held as a child.
It was a phenomenal read, regardless of how I may have felt before or now. It was simply a really incredible story. But absolutely not what I was expecting going in basing those expectations around fears and hatred of those I grew up with, and the things I saw and experienced regarding modern religion and what people do with the Bible.

@johnnyrocket1685 It is best when you think what is right and wrong and use your common sense, I grew up in christian family, and we accept gay people for example, but many still think it's wrong to be gay, but I just use my common sense to think I shouldn't live my life by the book, but keep in mind to treat others well and not to steal or kill etc, rules that make sense xD

"I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said-“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
    The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal, these words appear:
    My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.”

Epic track! And cinematic intro! Though, if the sun would have risen in real time, THAT would have been the icing on the cake!

This music reminds me when his majesty King Narmer 1st conceived the idea for the excavation of Giza, where the modern pyramids were discovered generations before him.

I was born into a desert and I slithered along the ground.
The sun scorched my eyes and no vision could be found.
And though this was all I knew, it still didn't feel like home.
And though many slithered with me I still felt all alone.
But every now and then I'd see a light I didn't know.
That somehow called my name and where came from I had to go.
And as I made my way, I knew I couldn't look back.
The light before me was so brilliant that everything else turned black.
And as I neared the light a foot crushed my head
And as I lay there paralyzed I knew that I was dead.
And out of my mouth came bleeding all the black that was inside
Confessions of wickedness that I could no longer hide.
And the light came from His eyes pierced right into my soul
Filling me with His spirit and then I began to grow.
It was nothing I had done but His love gave me a new start
And I rose as a new creation a new body and a heart.
And now I walk this path narrow as it may be.
The light of Lord is always guiding me.
I no longer lick the dirt but eat from the tree of life.
I am no longer a serpent but a daughter and a wife.
And though this world is a desert filled with serpents as I once was too
I pray to shine His light and watch the old become brand new.
