I turn 76 on February 15, hence my hiking/camping days are over. But, to watch your 4K videos on a 27” computer monitor or 65” TV, I feel like I’m actually there albeit without the huffing, puffing, and exhaustion I would endure at my current age. Had the technology been available then, I’d be doing what you’re doing now. Many thanks Tristen for allowing me to come along on these adventures despite my age-related limitations.
Can't say enough how much I appreciate your production value. Just the fact that you take the time to set up the camera to show yourself hiking along (then go back and retrieve the camera) and the fantastic drone shots, takes the viewing experience up several notches. You've created a great profession for yourself, but you work hard for that. Very professional!
Oh what a cool find! I did the Subway, and this looks a lot less strenuous. Although not as pretty as Subway, it is still cool! Thanks for sharing Tristan.
The drone footage was awesome in this video. The canyon was beautiful. And the waterfalls. Great job. So glad you are such a researcher, showing the phenomenal places for all subscribers.
Always appreciate the promotion of lesser known areas as alternatives to the narrows and other locations that have been completely trashed from similar social media.
Beautiful canyon hike, Tristan 😊 Loved the 2 waterfalls , the pink & blue boulders scattered on the ground, the green trees 🌲 growing out of the canyon wall overhangs & NO PEOPLE. Would be a great place to visit 😊👍🏻🙋🏼♀️
Gorgeous! Beef Jerky is Not boring! Tom's head! I can picture the water roaring through where you are sitting for your snack. Thank you for taking me on these adventures!
Jaw dropping beautiful. The monolith at the split is incredible. One of my most favorite videos. Perfect for someone who has been hibernating from the cold all week. Thanks so much. ❤
This hike looks absolutely incredible, as are many hikes are in SW Utah. But what sets this one apart from other ones, in my opinion, is the lack of people. Growing up in/around NYC for my first 52 years, and now living around the crowded Charlotte suburbs…..THIS is why SW Utah is my idea of living.
Another fabulous video! If I had gone into that grotto under the waterfall and looked up to see those boulders - I’d be sprinting out of there - but quietly sprinting so as not to disturb things!!! 😂
I recall driving by this trailhead on the way to Cedar Breaks. Never knew this was there! Awesome, awesome, awesome! Thanks! I'm looking forward to a Kanab area video!
What a super hike - thanks for taking us along. That little cave under the waterfall was so cool….and with all those massive boulders just a hair’s breadth from coming crashing down - very exciting!
That was spectacular; just what I love! You’re correct in saying it’s not as colorful as the Narrows but it had it’s own beauty. I love that area and will keep this hike in mind although it is more miles than we normally do. We also love Kanab; it is a great little town that is a great base for day hiking in the area! ❤ Love your videos!
That hike really was spectacular. Wish you could have taken more video - the canyon walls were beautiful. Their colors were amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Magic, pure magic . You are without a doubt the best outdoor adventure cgann in TH-cam. I have used so much of your knowledge in my travels in the past 3 years it is so appreciated
So awesome to see these beautiful canyon walls, yes, landscaped and manicured by nature. Nature decorates in tremendous ways. Hoping to make it there before summer, definitely a must visit at some point. Impressive solo hikes Tristan. Be safe out there! Thank you for posting.
Hi Tristan, awesome hike really love your channel. Im a longtime viewer/subscriber and, first time commenter. I got hooked on your channel in 2019. Its a great escape from all the ugly realities around us, geopolitics and, my career working in the ICU in Detroit last few years with all the sad tragedies to name just 2. So thank you for your amazing filming and, letting us tag along and escape that stuff for an hour or so. Also your channel took me some of other creators' channels closer to my home. Mostly creators in northern Ontario and Labrador, which are all remote canoe trippers on the lakes and rivers in the forests of the north. Your channel is fantastic and, I have been meaning to tell you for long time now how much both my wife and, I really love your vlog. Keep up the amazing video tripping it is awesome stuff you present to us lucky subscribers.
It's amazing how crowded the Narrows hike in Zion has become since my first time in 2006. Our group of 4 hiked with six girls from Sweden until they got tired and turned back. Thanks, this looks like a great place to hike!!
I showed up at Zion a couple of years ago wanting to randomly poke around like I do at other national parks only to find the level of pre planning and permits needed a bit prohibitive for someone like me. Also the crowds were literally stifling. I left and probably will never go back. It’s nice to know there are alternatives like this. Unfortunately the same medium that allows us to become aware of these places will probably be their downfall as well.
Yeah we didn't need a permit we just showed up at the visitors center and caught a shuttle to the trailhead. That same trip we camped in the Grand Canyon and went to Mather Point at midnight on a Wednesday. Not a single other person was there but my buddy and me which is unheard of today. @@Winstonrodney6989
Yeah I'm glad I saw so much of Zion in the early 2000's. And even in the early 2010's it wasn't too bad if you got an early start (since most people sleep in late), and Angel's Landing was good to do early in the morning when it's less crowded, but now you need a permit.
Southwestern Utah sure has it's share of awesome areas to explore, this was a great hike that's not been on my radar but will be now. Can't wait to see which of the many spectacular spots you go to around Kanab, I just love the whole Escalante-Grand Staircase region, you could make several videos in the area and not begin to exhaust the opportunities.
I always love the fabulous finds in your videos! Above and beyond the hike today that seven dollar truckstop shower looks freaking amazing! It would be great to know where that is.
Seeing the worn walls from centuries of flood waters was amazing. I especially was in awe iat the shot of you looking so tiny as you walked under the massive overhang cliff. That gave a shocking perspective.
Awesome hike. It's nice following along in your video, and it helps to know what it feels like being there in canyons like that, but nothing beats being there.. frankly, I'm jealous. I like how you seek the less traveled areas because it just adds another whole level to the experience when you get it alone.. nice work.
That was a nice walk. I can imagine what it looked like last year when Zion had the torrential rains ⛈️ and flooding. It was quite a mess and no place to be hiking 🥾. 👍☮️🌞🏜️🌵

Ditto from an 81 year old. Many Thanks Tristan.
Happy Birthday fellow Feb 15th bday person! I just turned 49!
You rock man !!! 😎

What a fabulous hike with amazing scenery! It appeared to be a hike that anyone in reasonably good health could do. Thanks for sharing!
Yep, it is! And you can basically go as far or long as you want, depending on how you're feeling.
So handsome😍
This video ranks up their in terms of the quality of the hike. Thanks for the awesome footage you took.
Even I, here viewing the video, said oh wow (out loud) about the first waterfall. Thank you.
Oh what a cool find! I did the Subway, and this looks a lot less strenuous. Although not as pretty as Subway, it is still cool! Thanks for sharing Tristan.
Thank you for taking us along on this hike. I am 8 miles away from it but unable to hike anymore. Always wanted to see Flannigan Arch.
The drone footage was awesome in this video. The canyon was beautiful. And the waterfalls. Great job. So glad you are such a researcher, showing the phenomenal places for all subscribers.

Just a wonderful video! Thank you so much…my favorite!

One of your best videos in my opinion.
Me too.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Yes, I couldn't agree more, wonderful scenery that stays with you.
Jaw dropping beautiful. The monolith at the split is incredible. One of my most favorite videos. Perfect for someone who has been hibernating from the cold all week. Thanks so much. ❤
Even covering your exact steps on an out and back, everything looks soooo different!
Wow Havana Cabana for the win!! Thanks for the good finds

What a beautiful place. You sure can see how the land moved from flooding. Amazing what water can do. That waterfall is fantastic. Thank you.
That waterfall at 14:25 is amazing! Love all of your videos and appreciate your insight on hikes like this - off the beaten path, but so worth it!
Another fabulous video! If I had gone into that grotto under the waterfall and looked up to see those boulders - I’d be sprinting out of there - but quietly sprinting so as not to disturb things!!! 😂
Really appreciated this one. That gorge was spectacular.
Thank You for the Beautiful Hike and the terrific presentation. ♥
Any day you can have 2 beautiful waterfalls to yourself is a very good day. Thanks for taking us along. Another fantastic video!
I moved to Cedar City almost 2 years ago and keep meaning to hike Ashdown… thanks for the motivation!
Wow. Utah never fails to impress. Good stuff.
Spectacular!

That was a beautiful hike Tristan. Thanks again for bringing us along.
Beautiful, thank you for sharing your hike. Great videography, I almost get a chill from seeing the ice, waterfalls and flowing streams. Wow.
it was a great hike :) thanks for taking us along
I love your videos! I like the curved canyon walls better than the waterfall side. Gorgeous hikes!
That hike looked like so much fun. I'm not able to do more than a mile or two anymore, so thanks for always taking us with u.
This is fantastic video. I have done other famous hikes before but I really love this one too. No crowd is great! thx
Some impressive scenery to have all to yourself! :-)
I agree!
Absolutely awesome! Great scenery and a very secluded area during the time that you were there!
Primo hike, Tristan! Thanks for taking us along. 🙏 Looking forward to trying this next time I'm in that area.
Thank you! Your show rocks, keep up the good work.
Very cool. Thank you for sharing.

Another great video! I love these hikes off the beaten path! It is great to learn about more unknown spectacular terrain!
What an amazing hike!! I'm headed to the area in April and will be sure to have that one on my list!!
Loved it! Your explanations and video showed a lot. It was fun.
I was screaming "wow" a lot at this video especially with Tom's head and the first waterfall.

$7 for a truckstop shower is a good deal. I've done it twice, $12 both times(pretty sure). Great video, as usual.
Agreed. I took one the other day for $18 😬
Awesome hike ! Loved the cliffs and waterfalls. One of your better hikes. Thanks for sharing,
Thanks!
Whoa…a hike to put on my to-do list. Love scenery … hate congestion!
A great hike north of there is part of Zion called Taylor Creek hike in kolob canyon

I’ve been through that area several times in the last few years and had no idea that hike was there , thanks for sharing it
Sure chose a good time to go and a good hike! I did not know about this hike.
So beautiful!
That was a great hike, wish I could, Kanab is a great little town, thanks Tristan ⭐️😎🤩
Beautiful! I’m so envious 😄🫢. And I also got hungry when I saw that food. Fantastic hike and surroundings 👍🏻🇳🇱
I always love the fabulous finds in your videos! Above and beyond the hike today that seven dollar truckstop shower looks freaking amazing! It would be great to know where that is.
That was a pretty nice, and clean, shower! The hike was OK too.

Beautiful place. It’s definitely on my list now. I love Kanab. Spent 3 days in the area back in’20. As usual great job Tristan and thanks for sharing.

I loved the Waterfalls!🐗😀🌞

Thanks for the kind words!
loved the trip you just took me on ! thanks so much
Ooh, Kanab is where you enter the drawing for a "Wave" permit. I hope you go for it!
You had everything going on in those canyons.
Lovely waterfalls. Stay warm
Super place! Great video!
We love all of your videos! However, this video was our favorite hike you have done. Loved it!
Very awesome hike! Thank you!
What a fantastic channel!

Thanks again for your great hike and the falls. Rick
